@dunlop: They're actually bottles of really low-quality alcohol that my roommate's brother spent twenty of my dollars on and that no one is going to drink because they taste like ****. They were bought to go into some punch that I didn't even drink. >/

It's really hard to take a picture of yourself playing the guitar, I've discovered. I had to take like 20 shots before I was EVEN IN THE FRAME, and then most of them were too dark to even salvage with photoshop.

Because Laharl seems to me to be the type of person who would buy into something like that.

I don't mean to say that playing the guitar is an inherently negative thing, there are some really creative and interesting guitar players, I just mean to say that 99% of guitar players have no originality or interest in outside-the-box thinking whatsoever.
Thus, they choose to play the electric guitar. The instant-popularity machine, played by hundreds of thousands of unoriginal tools, ridiculously included in probably over 80% of all modern popular music, with an incredibly whored-out sound that most people never get past and never will.

I think he just really doesn't like Laharl. I found the guitar statement completely ridiculous, considering a lot of my friends who play guitar are very talented at it, as well as tons of other people around the world. The people who "suck" are just the people who haven't been playing long or don't have the motivation to keep practicing.
