No. It was the fact that he said, "I should know, I'm black."
Horse. High. Dismount.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor
No Mal, your association with me saying I was Black and knew what the movie does not prove any stereotype. It is common knowledge that most minorities live in areas of increased poverty than most Americans. Wouldn't it be easy to distinguish these African American children live in one of these areas? Yes it would.
Also, being Black and not seeing Boyz In The Hood is a paradox in itself. =P

Right. But what the hell does poor black kids have to do with Boyz in the Hood? It sounded like to me you were saying "I'm black, I know 'black' movies, that was a 'black' movie, ergo, I should know it. I'm black and I won't ever let anyone forget it."
You were the one that brought race into it. I just brought a humorous percentage.

Har Har Har. If you remember BITH, it was about Cuba Gooding Jr. trying to escape the harsh reality of living in South Central, Compton. What I meant is, the movie is a strong reminder of African American violence and we should embrace and learn from our mistakes in order to better our future. =P
I'd hate to tell you how to play your own game, but it's been a couple of days and not for nothing, I think it's time to put up a clue.
