For those not in the know:



It would be inserted into the game slot of a normal genesis and would allow for games specially designed for it to be played that I guess were more complex graphics-wise than the normal Genesis could handle. I had one. I only had two games for it though: some fighting game that I forget the name of and Doom.

A very unpopular and ****ty handheld produced by Tiger electronics. Not sure why Sega would have a deal with them. Didn't they have that **** with neogeo pocket or something too?

Face it, guys, you've tapped the character vat dry, just stick with the classics.

i agree, with the exception of shadow.

they should more to story development, not crappy new charecters.

And yeah, it says in the article that they did a lot of games in-house because there were no developers that wanted to waste their time, so the game may have been a port that they did themselves... >__>

I'm with Omega. I didn't get a Game Boy, I got a Game Gear. I didn't get a SNES, I got a Genesis. Sega's like the highlight of my childhood, and Sonic games used to rock.

Did anyone else think that the people with gamegears and genesises were creepy? All the ones I knew where. The good boys with there grey gameboy and there grey game station. Then, from the shadows emerge the ones with the huge ass game gear and are like: "Yah, so what, I have a backlit screen with color, so what? Yah, it takes about 9999 AA batteries also!". Anyone else share this same feeling? Maybe you will be the first Sega person I meet who isn't creepy. Probably though. Everyone on the internet is creepy.

Sonic Cd was the best Sonic game ever. After Sonic and Knuckles it went down hill. When they ditched Sonics home planet and added all these new characters it really started to fail. Sonic Adventure redeemed the Sonic series for a while and Sonic Adventure two was alright when you were just playing as Sonic but other wise it wasn't all that. The soundtrack was alright, the song for the level "Metal Harbour" was cool. Bring back Mobius! Mobius does include the Chaotix characters by the way. All Big the Cat and Cream etc can burn in hell.

Note: I really don't know anything about DBZ, only what I think I saw before I stopped watching it.

Sonic was great when it was on the Sega. After that it blew.

The Game Gear sure did chug batteries like nobody's business, but luckily I had one of those 3-in-one AC adaptor things that worked for pretty much every handheld that existed at the time.

Sega did have some sort of relation with SNK (I think it is) for the NeoGeo, but I dunno the details. I have a Neo Geo Pocket Color which I love, and have a Sonic game for... but that game kinda sucks.

Sonic 2 was my favorite. I get crazy nostalgia from listening to the soundtrack of that or playing it again.

And seriously, Sonic 2 was soooo totally easy. Just get any younger sibling/grandparent/retarded fool/monkey to play as Tails and you basically win the entire game.
