if you know its coming then you have a higher chance of not being able to hit it.
thats the case for me anyway. i subconciously hit in a way that will make me miss and then i cant stop doing it. at that point i stop playing the song for a long period of time and resume when i get better at everything else

You know what also helps, hitting a boo before it as in your hitting a three arrow jack.. that should be able to get you it.
