i dont really like rahxephon mainly because it totally copied neon genesis

Despite the fact that the first ten episodes of RahXephon seem like they are ripped straight from Evangelion, RahXephon really shines during the second half of the series. Overall, RahXephon is a fairly unique and interesting show.

The new FUNimation dub of Shin Chan. It's ****ing hilarious, i swear to god. Watch a few clips at www.shinchanshow.com. Clip 2 is the funniest, I think.

It's the only good thing FUNimation ever made -_-

i had a top ten before but now ive watched some more anime so...this is a new top 3
1. Elfen Lied- Best anime i have ever seen, Lucy or Nyuu whatever u wanna call her is the best anime character ever created.
2.Chobits- I really dont know why i got addicted to this show but i did and it was pretty damn funny and had a good storyline. robot<3human rofl
3.Azumanga Daioh- good show,period.
P.S- just started watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. May be on my top list one day

Cowboy Bebop was just so stylish.. Samurai Champloo followed in style. Shinichiro Watanabe is a genius. Lately, Mahou Sensei Negima has been decent. And, did anyone else read the manga conclusion of GTO?? It was... amazing, but it felt like their should have been more..

Hard to say exactly wich one is the best, but something like:

1. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu
2. Elfen Lied
3. Shakugan No Shana
4. Samurai Champloo
5. Naruto (well obviously I don't like the fillers duh, but before that, and hopefully again in a couple of weeks)

favorite animes (besides the usual, ex. naruto, fma, etc.):

-black cat -> i really can't believe no one's mentioned that yet, a must-see.
-sukisho -> hilarious shonen-ai
-getbackers -> that's been already mentioned, but ill put it up anyway.
-shaman king -> this one too...yoh's all laid back and cool, lol.
-yami no matsuei (sp?)/Decendents of Darkness -> supposed to be shonen-ai, but could be interpreted as friends, so yeah...
-gakuen alice -> kawaii...esp. the opening song...i heard season two sucked, tho.
-ouran high school host club -> hahaha...this one is hilarious. lotsa bishonens too!
-bleach -> has anyone said that yet...i really can't remember...if no one has, then i would, like, die from shock.
-wolf's rain -> really serious...sad...but a great and deep story.
-full metal panic -> omg this is so hilarioius. a great couple, too...sousuke/chidori!
-hunter x hunter -> it's a great story, mostly about two 12-year olds. it got more complicated in the end though, lol, esp. in the ovas.
-hikaru no go -> i haven't watched it, but my friend is obsessed...so it has to be at least okay...(at the very least, they have a good amount of bishonens!)
-fruits basket -> also an anime that i haven't watched, but ive heard is REALLY good.

i can't think of anymore. (and considering its 3:05 in the morning, that's pretty good...lol.)

oh, and to the ppl who were all like, "Inuyasha!" and "FMA!" and "Trigun!", and ESP. to those people who are like, "DBZ" or "No, dbz GT!" or "POKEMON!" there are MORE animes out there...ADULT SWIM HAS NO SENSE IN GOOD ANIME...they probably picked it at random, or just chose whichever one had the least amount of cuss words and was still popular, lol.

now that i've wasted my time here, i will now unpause my life.

Shows get licensed based on popularity.

Adult Swim airs shows that were popular in Japan.

This is an obvious business marketing scheme.

This isn't to say that the shows are actually good, but some are, and it's not wise to knock an entire line of shows right like that. Just so you know, Bleach is going to be on the very same network that you claimed had no taste in anime later this year.

Oh, and we have a more recent "favorite anime" thread so I decided to keep this one buried and move your post there (which is now here).
