Ok everyone. We all have a brain here. I think that all of us need to step back a second.


When we registered, we agreed to uphold Synthlight's rules. We are all in HIS house so we need to follow HIS rules. You can't just go bad mouth the Host, because then you get kicked out by the host. He has allowed us to fight a little only because he can't be everywhere at once. We need to respect Synth's wishes just as we respect Synth.

For those that DO want to say what ever they want, he created a garbage bin for those people. That is the "no rules forum." He already made one for all those that want it. He wants you to keep it out of the rest of the forums though.

rules and laws in the real world are definatley needed...by advocating free-speech and less rules on an internet forum, im some sort of anarchist..

I'm all for free speech (even though its bullshit in the real world anyway) and less rules in forums and chat rooms, I think most rules (like no swearing to protect the younger surfer's 'virgin ears') are kind of pointless, but it came across to me as if you and VxDx were advocating no rules. Which would suck.

Thanks people. Lets try to all be more understanding. We have all been somewhat wrong or not understanding throughout this topic, so lets all try to work harder to minimize future arguments.

to anti, like I said, the rules that are in place are necessary and do just fine at controlling the board. If there's one thing that I've learned about Synth in the time that I have known him (not personally obviously, just watching his actions), it's that he knows what is necessary to run a message board. He has it under control.
So yes, no rules would suck. Too many rules would suck. The amount of rules we have right now is just right.

okay lupin is cool, i can respect this cat now...thats right cat...but youre right anti no rules just wouldnt work...there is some happy medium that no one can argue with, but all of society has yet to find it...i surely do not to mean have no rules, but you should definately have basic rights and the right to voice your opinion on any issue
