You know, this episode would have been completely horrible if it hadn't been for Yuki. Good thing everything she did was pure win.

Ironically, she is the only member of the group that I find the least bit interesting anymore. Mikuru and Itsuki had potential, but they have both stalled as far as any sort of character development goes.

If it wasn't clear enough before, this episode cemented it: Haruhi is the ultimate Mary-Sue. She is perfect at everything she does, and to top it all off, she whines about how she isn't perfect enough, and we are supposed to feel sorry for her.

BLECH

I detest Mary-Sues. Oh well. The characters have never been the strong point of this series for me.

However, this is almost worth putting up with for the Haruhi dere-dere in this episode. I wouldn't dislike her nearly as much if she spent more time in that mode.

The concert was boring. Concerts are only interesting if you are there to bask in the energy of the performance.

And the shining point of this series so far is the Yuki fight in episode 10. Nothing else even comes close.

I loved that concert, it took this show to an all new level of awesome. I am seriously thinking about buying guitar freaks now, since I just went and whored Guitar Hero for the last hour and a half or so, and would love to play some Jpop songs since I'm homosexual and all. That was seriously too awesome of Haruhi.

I don't know why you think we're supposed to feel bad for haruhi because she's good any everything, since she usually shrugs off anything, and it said so in episode two that none of the clubs held her interest at all. So even if we are supposed to feel bad, I don't see where it would be coming from because it doesn't bother her at all (from my view. Enlighten me if you must).

Because I'm a ****** for disagreeing with you' I'll make it up to you - How was Beck, if you ever saw it? I know it's music, and it might be pretty nifty.

Haruhi may be the first technological singularity to be spontaneously born in the universe, marked by an off-the-scale data spike (the awakening) and the subsequent timequake (protecting her origin). As such, Haruhi Suzumiya, although an all-powerful post-human, could be in her "infant" stage, and thus explain her attitudes and baby-like "tantrums".

I dunno if I evolved past the normalcy of humanity I'm pretty sure I'd be pretty ****ing good at a thing or two as well ^^;

Holy **** that episode SUCKED. Worst in the series yet by a lot. Ouch.

Only thing that made the concert worth watching was the really awesome animation during their performance. I don't think I so much as smiled throughout the entire thing, and hated the songs. >_> GROSS

UHHH I liked the Haruhi concert scene.. Kyon seems to have gained some respect for her now aswell.
