        Re: Airsoft as a sport

I was with my friends one day playing in a small arena in my neighborhood. I learned that the stuff I wear is made from a very tough material since my friend had to shoot me for about 10 times in the same place for me to actually notice I was shot, my friend was using a gas M1911 about 300-350fps but it did not hurt me at all.
I wear combat boots when I play airsoft (steel tipped too) so if anybody shot me in the foot I will never realize it.

I also have this other friend that plays with a gas M93R from tokyo marui.
Man his gun has different modes. Like shotgun, burst and single fire mode. It was cool but the friend is a bit slow in running (because of his weight)
so in one game I just overkilled him on the back with my MP5K. There were no judges so there were no rules. It was fun as hell!!

Metal bb's that will hurt like hell man. I never want to use metal bb's since it makes the bb gun a real lethal weapon rather than a item for a game.

Oh yeah, and the BBs hurt like a bitch. Especially when you get hit in the eye. Twice. And one of those shots was a RICOCHET shot. Just ask my friend.

            Can you ricochet paint?
            AKs are nice....
Is it solid stock or one of those retractable stocks?

Paintball probably hurts more than metal bb's.... it got bigger ammo size.....
I would hate to get hit with a paintball gun....

no, metal bb's by far hurt more than any other type of ammo (besides live ammo duh) paintballs, yes theyre bigger, but the pressure created from a paintball hitting you is spread out over a larger area so your not feeling its full amount of kinetic energy, a metal bb on the other hand, is very small (4mm) smaller than an airsoft bb, but its made of copper and/or steel, and because its a solid and non-porous object, its able to drive all of its energy into a single point, even over extremely long distances due to its heavy weight and low air resistance, so a 350fps metal bb, can get stuck under your skin, as opposed to "i think i got hit" with the plastic bbs, or maybe a red spot from paintballs....blah

I agree, the metal bb will be almost like a live round or close to it.
It is pretty hazardous to play around shooting metal bb's.... It might send someone to the grave if its shot from the right place..... aiming at the right place.....
                    SCARY!

IVE BEEN SHOT BY A METAL BB LOL CAPS.

No really. Never happened at airsoft either. My friend shot me with his luger. Gas powered. Hurts. Alot. It was close range as well. However I was pleading like a little girl for him to not shoot me. I mananged to crawl under blankets and such but even with that blaket shield, it hurt like hell.

                          Good times. Good (drunk) times.

Solid stock unfortunately. But still fun.
