Anyway, fool around with stuff. Take a random picture off the internet and just mess around with everything in the menus. Don't just limit yourself to filters. Mess around with colors by going to image > adjustments. Add some text and go to layer > layer style to make it glow or add a shadow. Just do whatever.

Google "Photoshop tutorials" or something like that.

Try http://forum.soccertolive.com, then go to the tutorials. The forum is dead, but it has a lot of tutorials for PS beginners.
