            Even if Tass actually WAS away all the times his away message up, you could still IM him.

            AIM saves IMs received when you're away that you might read them later. I've seen it happen.

                My away message is also up 24/7 to keep the n00bs away. For some reason, they have this idea that I can help them with chat problems.
