Id say 10 or 11 is the only time appropriate to go all, "haha you got beat by a kid".

Extreme challenge for me = passing a 9-footer/hard 8-footer.

DDR != SM/FFR.

I barely started on doubles yesterday. So far my favorite songs(on double) are DXY! on heavy and Dynamite Rave. still haven't tried a lot of songs on double. do you guys have any suggestions??

I've been playing since november i think I'm a master at both DDr and ITG (13 footers baby) and i'm third best in my city which I live just out side in a small town of 12000 and i'm the best out of them

Shash, for gallops/streams, try Tsugaru. From there, go to Matsuri Japan because it builds up your stamina. Finally, you might be able to get a decent score on R&P. For now though, I would focus on getting more stamina. One way I did this was I played the Max songs on standard (7's). Just keep working up to the harder songs. Don't expect to get so great overnight. Once you can do R&P confidently, try Saints go Marchin In on heavy. It has some turn gallops, so it should bring everything together. Also, get used to the turns L U R U L U R because those are fairly common in most 9 footers. You actually have to face semi-backwards in order to keep balance. Practice your turns, gallops, and streams and you will get better surprisingly fast =)

I can't hit that pattern at all. I keep trying to without doublestepping and miss every time...

I'll keep trying it though...I'll get it eventually.

And plus, the pad is kinda crappy...especially the right arrow. To hit a freeze on it, I have to pull up on the pad while pushing down on the arrow with all my might for the duration of the freeze. Just standing and not pushing down really hard on it gives me a NG 100% of the time...

And by the way, how how HOW do you hit L D R U or R D L U without doublestepping? The only way I could think of is spinning completely around, which I wouldn't even bother attempting because I'd probably get 3 misses right there...is there another way I'm not seeing?

Practice Moba*Moga on heavy to learn that pattern nearing the end of the song- You'll be able to hit it easily sooner or later like its second nature.

The only way you can do L D R U or R D L U is to turn your body somewhat away from the screen (i.e- spinning)

The trick to the LURULURL or any variation of that is to be able to shift your weight around from one foot to the other. You need to move your body aswell, isntead of just moving your feet while your body stays in the center like you normally do. It feels a bit weird at first, but once you get the hang of it it's easy Hope that helps.
