LOL @ 2. You need a FC, and it's likely no less that an ITG2 12 or 13. Have fun.

I'm guessing just 90% will be enough just like in Extreme 2 and 1(ps2), although, depending on how you look at it, it could be 85% before bonuses, but I haven't even seen enought vids to know how scoring and grading work yet...so don't freak out on me if I'm completely wrong =(

No, no, see, you don't understand...There's a lot of determination involved here. The chart isn't nearly as draining as VerTex², or Pandemonium (Which, if you'll recall, I've finished). The trick to AAing FaxX is going to be the FC. The rhythms are simply awkward to get used to. Otherwise I don't think it's going to present much of a problem. =)

If you can combo that jump run at 600 bpm reading speed, more power to you, haha.

He could just have a step chart in front of him. Or memorize the patterns. Or maybe he can do Max. on x2 easily wthout memorization.

            Okay, maybe not x2

We'll see come Friday (that is, if it's in). I hope to see you there, Sterf. I'll coordinate with you later on if I can confirm the machine's arrival.

              WE WILL HAVE PICTURES! EXCLUSIVENESSNESS!

Yea playa, just keep the updates coming. I'm taken the first half of Friday (v'ball tourney), all day Saturday (homeless shelter), and the first half of Sunday (church + helping w/ Sunday school). I'll definitely be calling BZ to ask a few times, I'm sure.

As for FMAXX, I think it would be feasible to memorize that jump run and the transition directly after it in order to pass. Not my style w/ DDR, but I may do it just on principle to pass.

Believe me, once you've come within literally seconds of clearing VerTex^2, then -anything- is readable. >.>; The problem comes with actually reacting to it...

Exactly -- so comboing won't be easy . I'm still hoping for a change to 93% DP.

Ah, to be honest, so am I. But the first step to AAing anything is being confident in yourself. =)

                        Another delay! HOORAH!

I called Brunswick Zone last night, and apparently, the machine is in Illinois. However, parts needed to build it are in some other state. I have no idea what that means in terms of the machine, but this does mean that at the earliest, it will be in late next week.

This monotony tells me we'll be waiting a lot longer than we initially expected to.

Sort of like my arcade. We waited for 6 months for it to come. June-Dec. When it came, half of the parts were missing. Just before Christmas, we got them in a put it all together.

*Sigh* Well...Not like anyone's gonna clear FaxX Doubles anyway...--; Oh wait, they've had a few weeks. I give it a few more days before someone does it. =/ Oh well...

A new web page for DDR Supernova popped up on Konami's Japanese website: Lightdarkness - 55

Yeah, a pic of the machine, and some aspects of the game to look foward to...

                              But this caught my attention.

Aside from an E-Amuse pass showing up on the page, I want everyone to take note of the design. Why is there an image of a global map on the pass? Even though this is likely only a temporary design if the E-Amuse system will be used, it sure is interesting.

Well, it's been quite a while, and I've put it off... but it's time to reveal what I've known for a few days but was too lazy to post.

DDR SuperNOVA is NOT going to BZ Naperville. Phooey.

It's going to the HIP... Harlem-Irving Plaza. Along with... an ITG2 dedicab.

This means that BZ Naperville has been lying to me (and all of us) the entire time. I have half a mind to call them with my computer mic ready to go and record a conversation with the game room manager, or the tech, and expose their treachery. But I think there's some kind of law against it.

I've been to the HIP, and getting there is no big deal. The only issue now is: when will it arrive? I've been alerted that it will be sometime this week. Hopefully, it will be there by Friday, when I have the day off. Exclusive photos and videos ahoy!
