I really don't aprreciate indirect flames like this, let me see you get anyhting better than an A at my house.
My school uses deepfreeze, this crappy program that installs windows fresh every time you log in. I have to install SM every time I want to play, and no one else at my school plays SM let alone knows how to change judge.
I'm begining to think that the problem is that my processor is too fast, and if judge is based on a time loop then playing on a slow computer would actually be easier.
Yet again, can somone please tell me how to set a global offset?
Seriously though, did you watch the video? I was not great attacking on purpose. I'll make another video at my school where I show judge and .ini, ok?
Edit, I just changed my offest until the steps totally didn't match the music and my score improved slightly: [/img]
What vSync actually does is create a tripple frame buffer in your video memory, so that it can throw out frames as neccisary.
With vSync off I get an average of 500FPS, but with it on it's actually throwing out 400 of those 500 frames as my monitor runs at 100Hz.
Therefore with it off I get to see more of what's happening in real time and it definitely improves my score.
However I can see that it would help one who has a low-mid range computer who wants to keep thier frames in sync with thier refresh rate.
