R index = down arrow (this finger is actually for the UP arrow in the game, to avoid avoid confusion.)
R middle = Right arrow
I honestly don't see how anyone could play the game with a ring-middle combination. Look at how your fingers move... the index and middle relationship is clearly the best choice. I've met a very small number of people (if any) who have complete control of their middle and ring fingers seperately... It's just not normal. So why're all you people playing with these two, very slow fingers?
(At least they're horribly coordinated for me, and anyone i've ever met.)
