What does it mean to be a classic flavour? Is it true, culinary merit? Is it enterprising and marketing? It's difficult to assign the title "classic" to anything that hasn't existed for centuries, we'd say.
Now that our stance is established, we're hoping the contest winner is truly a classic flavour that will etch its name on the gustatorial zeitgeist.
What isn't a classic flavour is sometimes a coinflip. Should it be Hateandhatred or _Zenith_? Let's see.

To experience flavour enlightment is to achieve nirvana. Unfortunately, as the food passes onto our tongue and into our esophageal tract, the flavour becomes but a fleeting moment. Maybe some capsaicin will linger, clung to the insides of your cheeks like liquid poison ivy.
