Because pushing people and making them uncomfortable with your vote is what builds associations in this game. FFA hasn't existed until just now so your vote was sitting on something that wasn't fighting back.

what builds associations in this game is also conversation, not just voting for someone to get them to talk. i don't vote people to pressure them. i don't think i've ever done that. i vote for people based on the information they give (or don't give). this opinion is very strange to me, but i still think you're town.
