here's an example of a post I feel like might make someone target storn.

If told to kill someone who isn't haku i think i go for FFA. most likely to be a wolf in my eyes.

my gut tells me to distrust roundbox.

the obvious conclusion is that this makes ffa or rb look potentially sus, but that's likely a ploy.

these haku posts feel so weird in succession:

The FFA call do feel right unfortunately. I don't genuinely think Roundbox/Xel are good votes either.

Xel generally felt cooperative and I had trouble to read his posts as him being genuinely frustrated even the one where he was like "I'm tilted" etc.

Star is definitely a "?"

I don't wanna focus too much on d0 because I don't know how much I can actually rely on tone there, but it's weird how haku just flips to star without much elaboration. and this wasn't a self-preservation vote because I was the only one with a vote on haku while there were at least two for ffa.

I'd feel disappointed in myself if I didn't at least point this out.

problem with that is the suspicions are more or less like, baseless, if we're going off the assumption that the wolves thought they were town yesterday

if not then it's still possible haku slipped which is lol

I feel like I'm in a bit of a quantum state rn
but feeling ok with bugkid still which may or may not be related to them being the only other person really posting atm

Per this message, T-Force does not consider the game to have started until this specific time. So regardless of the exact circumstances of the before times, I am valuing what happens this phase onward the most.


I did want to try to address a couple of things:

i know its been a while since ive played but surely yall still remember that my slot tends to be self resolving
lynching me should never be a priority
I'm just gonna vote starcrossed for whatever equivalent of virtue signaling mafia has

After reading this, I felt sort of bad that my vote was on you, because I don't expect this post to sound like this if you know you're a saboteur. I think I think that because it doesn't sound so much like it has an agenda you're needing to push last minute, and more like you're trying to make an assessment of things.

I would like to correct the interpretation of my post as virtue signaling, though. I often have a tough time feeling confident in who to vote out early in games, and one way I manage that anxiety is by phrasing things in terms of "if I have to vote X or Y, which do I think is more likely the wolf?" Another piece of this is that I have the impression that you might take satisfaction getting me in particular hanged if you were a wolf, but it's honestly possible that's an ego problem on my end. Haha

on principal i do not like ffa because his posts constitute toxic behavior (this is a regular thing for this player. just saying.)
box seems like a more personable person when he isn't afk, #146 is d e c e n t
stron is stron (unremarkable, slight town lean)
i think bug gives town vibes despite the behavior xel is calling out at least rn
i miss wv
i miss hate too
haku is an interesting one but my instinct is that my current read depends on him being town by default. based on personal interactions and not prior games, his entire methodology seems within the range of truthful possibility besides the weird metagaming around his "applicant" comment (and not the comment itself)
xel seems towny atm because he is incapable of being that angry as scum (i have seen you try)

star-crossed mainly gets my vote because i think the quote i did in particular highlights a hyper-defensive crack in their armor, i also think the math drop is a silly distraction (ironic coming from me)

why did you wait to acknowledge the only vote on yourself until just now

I had considered asking you earlier about how voting me felt, because from context of you switching it shortly after trying out a WV vote, I pretty much assumed it was a combination of process of elimination and you not really liking the thing you quoted. I decided to focus more on trying to find a vote that I felt comfortable with, though.

I think that waiting that long to give the full rationale doesn't really allow me the opportunity to address it for other people if that benefits them. So I took it more as you trying to deal a killing blow than caring for my perspective.

what are your thoughts on storn kill? Seems pointless to look at game state so I'm wondering if it was a personal kill
been a while since i've started the game off with a night phase effectively

In night starts, I used to kill people with boring names first to avoid the lookouts and doctors. Haha

My assumption was that the rationale for the kill choice would be similar to a regular game though, because we still had a day 0, official or not.

@star- sorry, I can see how that wording can be misconstrued. My vote was itself virtue signaling. That's what I meant by that, as in "I'll vote because I need to" sorta

it's easier to believe everyone thought they were town but it's more disappointing because that means we have to pretty much toss out d0 until everyone shows up (in case tone drastically shifts like ffa mentioned)

that's where I'm at, so I'm nitpicking atm

What do you mean why ? Game felt like everyone rolled green applicant D0 no matter how I look at it. I wish my early game thing left more hindsight for this point into the game.

If there someone who rolled wolf in the previous phase and moved back to green you should say something, but I doubt anyone like that will show up.

Still, if everyone was town on the first phase then why did storn flip ? That would mean there's a "N0" mechanic in the game or does that mean the game actually started on the previous phase ?

If the game only started now then what's the point of the previous phase ? There has to be more to this.
