idk, maybe someone's role does something and they claim it in thread. i dont know. we might never get the info and will have to wait till the end of game to see what it actually meant. There are more ways to get information without flips, and until we have the information its pretty much useless to speculate.

What if there's none and it's just 26 VTs staring at each other ?

i'm in on the "lets not lynch inactives till later" train. i always have been but i still totally agree that we should give them some time to play the game.

mcdaddio and funkywong haven't been entirely inquisitive but they've at least tried to participate and at the very least observe. spongebob has never posted and logman disappeared after 2 posts (aka not play the damn game). inactives =/= new players, they just happen to be 2 of them right now.

I really hate this post, like really really hate it. it almost makes me want to vote for you.

I should clarify that, when I said new players, I was referring to the 3 Xiz mentioned because - spoiler alert - they're all new to TWG.

My reasons for this are, granted, entirely selfish and looking beyond this game into future games. I also don't mean I'm never going to vote them, just not this phase.

Have you considered that maybe they're overwhelmed by the size of the game and thread, and having those threats over them are going to make them even LESS likely to do so?

Plus, like.. 199 was months ago. We're already a dying community. We finally have new people in here and I don't want to chase them out this early.

I don't think "dumbtell" is the right word for this, but approaching the game from the mindset of "there ARE actually wolves to be hunted, right??" strikes me as a very genuine townie perspective. I think you'd have to be a pretty clever wolf to not take the fact that you exist for granted.

I had the opposite opinion of his post--- it's pretty useless despite using a lot of words

all it takes is "hmm the setup is a mystery" and "maybe I can make a 'too little information' post"

that post doesn't SAY anything. empty signifiers
