So let's see... there's no post limit, there's no real things preventing me from doing so in the rules of TWG... how's-about I tell those not playing the game a story?
In a world slightly like our own, there were very many communities set up on a set of islands. These islands were all these people knew, and all they depended on.
There was one person who felt like things could use a bit of a change.
This person's name was Jeff. Jeff had a bit of a hot-streak as a troublemaker; he kept trying to leave the island many-a-time, and would never listen to the authorities. Every time he would be brought back to his home, and would be kept in his room for a week.
After every week of house arrest, Jeff would be right back at his antics. He's tried everything: from building a boat out of a mattress and many milk jugs; to trying to swim his way out in a fit of desperation and rage. Yet every time his attempts proved futile.
One day, Jeff had had enough. Instead of attempting to escape this time, he went out and tried to find others who had the same desires as him. Those who were tired of living day in day out on the island, and those who wished to finally get out and explore the world that could be waiting for all of them.
So Jeff went through the whole town, scouring the place to find anyone who would be on his side. Lucky for him, there was one other person who had similar goes to him; his name was Mark.
Jeff and Mark gave each other their phone numbers and would text each other very frequently about ideas on how to get out, or how to recruit other people. After a few days, Mark told him about a "spot" he'd go to that seems ideal for a covert escape
And so they set out on their journey to the spot, having given each of their parents fake excuses to where they're going. Mark starts explaining to Jeff that he had already gathered a community of people who want to escape. He only told Jeff just now as he was afraid Mark would rat him out.
They're getting closer to the place, and Mark grips Jeff by the wrist and asks him a couple final questions: "Do you know how to build a boat?"
Jeff responds, "Yes. I do, why?"
Mark asks, "Do you know how to hack technology?"
and Jeff responds with, "... Yes. I do... How'd you know?"
Mark had seen Jeff's work online. Jeff had hijacked very many pro-island websites in his past. He'd gained much notoriety because of it, yet his true identity was never unveiled as he had encrypted his information so well.
Mark took a bit to think, and with a smirk, replied, "Oh I'm a fan of yours. Nothing much."
So with Mark knowing a bit of Jeff's repertoire, and with his newfound knowledge of Jeff's expertise in boatmaking, Mark finally brought him down the corridor to the spot.
