So far, I'm leaning town on bolth and choof just based off of tone. And while I'm sure nanook is telling the truth about the C+ level gameplay stuff, I was wondering if him posting his statement right off the get-go came from a defensive wolf or helpful townie mindset. I haven't seen his wolf game, but he was a helpful townie when I played with him before, so I'm leaning more towards that.

I'm not gonna hard defend nanook, but I don't really see the scuminess there.

Town pile right now is choof, nanook, manti, bolth, xel, and freezin. Most of those are based on a mix of tone and meta, with nanook and manti being the exceptions. I don't know if they'd do what they're doing (eg manti with the flimsy xiz read and nanook pinging me out re: not hard defending but not really talking as much about other people suspecting him) if they were scum. Manti is basically null with a slight town lean, I guess.

FG, WV, and Xiz I don't really have a read on. I guess there's mostly paranoia there since they seem townie enough but I know they could just as easily be scum. And based on past experience, raeko is best kept as null until at least the second phase.

Zenith I kind of get a "make a case and push it" wolf vibe from, but since I can't recall us ever playing together I'll give the benefit of the doubt for now.

That leaves sunfan, who's reminding me of the zero escape turbo. He's responding to or pointing out mechanical stuff (eg choof on the max posts per page, raeko and manti being under post limit, etc) and not following up on convos and such. I'm sure a good part of that is day of the birth related, but I don't think all of it is. If I have to park a vote and more than likely leave it there, his slot is the one I'm most comfortable with.

Sorry for missing EOD, everyone. I tried to follow along but it was too chaotic where I was for me to focus and formulate thoughts and such.

Nanook's flip is really surprising. I guess sometimes you just gotta take someone's play at face value!

Reading the thread over, I get the feeling nanook was more inclined to respond to and field questions from townies than whoever his partners are. I think as a wolf, pointing townies in the direction you want is level 1 play and having believable interactions with your partners is level 2 play, and nanook, being on his C+ game, probably stuck to level 1. Mostly I think this because he kept bringing me up, lol. Based on that plus their play in general, I'm thinking bolth and freezin are pretty solid town, and I'm leaning town on WV (he's lower because idk what to make of him, whereas bolth I feel I have a good meta read on and freezin just seems legit from tone to focus to gameplay, etc etc).

Choof switching to FG there seems more like a town play than wolf play? Or would it be worse for wolf choof to hop on the nanook wagon there?

Sunfan still feels off to me, but getting the ball rolling on nanook at EOD is a step in the right direction. Can't give full points there since I know he's initiated a d0 bussing before (animal crossing game). Same goes for xiz (our thunderdoming in the OG 195). Xiz pushing against me after I made my final post last phase struck my gut as phony too.

Depending on the night actions, yeah. The only setups with two regular wolves and a roleblocker are roleblocker+vigi and roleblocker+doctor.

I mean, I'm voting raeko no matter what, then for the next step I'd rather wait for night actions. Shadow being the last wolf makes sense, but I'm hesitant if it turns out raeko's the wolf tracker. I'm wondering if I got tracked because of my early read on manti (me defending him with only two posts could've been seen as a poorly disguised n0 peek), but that would mean manti/shadow's clean.

For having town think about lynching stronger town players, I was talking about stronger WOLF players, and I know my name's been tossed around in this game in that respect.

Not sure what you mean by that being a contradiction either. Two regular wolves and a roleblocker refers to two regular wolves and town roleblocker.
