Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
The post is:What I am responding to is:When I am saying they aren't thinking, it's related to their priorities. They're seeking a role here that isn't relevant at all to today, and most of tomorrow. They equally are alluding to less information being a good thing, which for town it never is. To summarize: they aren't thinking about priorities properly, and what is best aligned for town.Comment

I disagree with this because there's a lot of roles and night actions in this game. There's going to be plenty of information to look into either way.The post is:What I am responding to is:When I am saying they aren't thinking, it's related to their priorities. Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
so as to not be a total hippo, I'll give some thoughts of my own
I don't really remember the last time I was playing the first day phase I liked someone as much as I've liked Julian; probably means he's a wolf/acq (please acquire me)
Flurry and Agent S both seem to be thinking beyond the surface level; their discussion about Julian where they admitted his take was strong for what had been said, but still townread him is something I liked (moreso for Agent S than for Flurry)
haven't had too much that I've really liked thus far, I'd say those are my old towns
Not a fan of chief for reasons I've said
Fauna for reasons I forget
and for anyone with negative thirteen posts or fewer thus farComment

Sure, but do any of those play into right now? I think not. It makes it irrelevant. The setting up of gimmicks and posting styles is enough in regards to the Aquisitioner. Pointing them out, or tunneling people for them is unproductive. Lynching an inactive puts us at an information deficit. We net negative both of these paths. You can agree to that much, yes?Comment

We lynch wolves, not information. Inactives are just a 4th party that makes everyone's life harder.Sure, but do any of those play into right now? I think not. It makes it irrelevant. Re: TWG 193: Animal Crossing [Game Thread]
If you're saying we shouldn't lynch inactives because lynching inactives doesn't give any information... I disagree, and I think most people on FFR do too
you can get information from the people who are pushing the inactives, who they chose and why, and while I get that its not exactly a gold mine of information, d0 rarely is
we have to make it into something, sure, and we do that by having interactions
if we have to play the game in circles around the inactives, then that's just what we'll have to do
this game (as is the case for any 20 player game) has many, many people who are posting with low postcount
for the people who will be alive late-game, sorting through that mess is a nightmare, and given that there have to be a few town in there who are not going to be reading everything, the chance that they get together and find a wolf is rather low
look at last game, town had 3 confirmeds and still blew it on the last phaseComment
