EDIT: To be fair, think of it this way. Most QueenAshy threads get us talking and being active which brings a lot of us together.
If it's good or bad, the community is growing and becoming more active. I personally think it's a great thing. Most QueenAshy threads go on for pages while most others struggle to continue.

I guess I just see things differently than everybody else but without QueenAshy the site wouldn't be close to as interesting imho.

You don't see how saying "This thread is going to die without a QueenAshy to say nonsense" is pretty implicative of saying "I'm only here to see her do wacky things / get her to do wacky things"? The thread was actually about something, and could absolutely have continued with or without her, but nobody can just deal with the thread without also putting in some shots against her.

It usually ends up being full of shenanigans as seen by other threads made by her. Also adding in commentary like "Soyboy" and something about the LGBT in her OP doesn't lend itself to start off the thread in a nice direction, so... I poked fun at it. Not to get her wound up, but just to poke at how silly it was to use "Soyboy" to describe a group of people and mentioning LGBT in the first place in a food thread. It wasn't just me either that poked at that either...

If you wanted me to instead ignore that and just go straight to me saying the thread was doomed to start with and strictly talk about the food and not anything else she included in the OP, then oops.

Also, I'm sure she wouldn't even be effected by the comments I made, I'm 95% sure anyways (The other 5% is if she suddenly went crazy). The shenanigan post was just me stating just that, no interesting shenanigans will be had in that thread. Well there could still be, but it'd be against someone who couldn't respond back.

Which is what i'm getting at.
It's okay to dislike someone, but we also have to agree to disagree time to time.
I know a lot of people disagree with QueenAshy and their choices.
Doesn't mean we have to say nasty things towards them though.

I know, or I'd have infracted it yeah? It was more of a general "using what you said to springboard into a wider general statement" sort of thing.

But the fact that people view a QueenAshy thread as "The place where silly shenanigans happen, and if she isn't there, the thread will just die" really sort of highlights the problem.

Maybe just deal with her posts as posts, and not as "QueenAshy Posts (tm)" and life will be better for everybody.

Also, people who don't like her posts should consider adding her to their ignore list User Cp -> Edit Ignore List
