i have no clue how star-crossed plays but their big reads posts doesnt sound fake/awkward at all which is something i (think but probably actually am not) am good at picking up on early so that's why he gets a town read

in answer to your question, yes and no.

I tend to play a lot of bigger games than this (they're called mish-mashes) and mashes tend to feature a lot of the same players because of the very nature that they have a ton of players in them.

so even though you're playing with a lot of people, at least 1/2 of the player base in those large games is p much identical between the games.


but since the games are larger, they more often than not make reads based on meta with a person than anything else, which is why it feels freeing to not have to cling to my meta like i do on the larger games over there.

11. theknightsofneeee - His messages in this main thread strike me as oddly hesitant at times, and I am trying to figure out if it is genuine. I am disappointed that he did not respond to my question for him earlier. But I am also wondering if the fact that knights would have joined the tribe discord sooner, if he was a mafia, because I think it would have been more obvious to him that things were actually happening on discord sooner, if he was talking to other mafias. When I played on Mafia Universe, they had a discord chat, so I cannot really think of a reason he would not join that and plan with them. I get the sense from the tribe chat versus the main chat, that he is trying to be cagey with 1 or 2 of his reads in the main thread. I think it could be genuine, but considering he is writing to 7 other people who just don't happen to be those specific people, obviously those more indepth leans could easily get back to the people he is not wanting to know about. And so I am wondering if that is not something he was worried about because he already knows who is mafia.

and in response to this, (i'm gonna ignore the discord timing tells cause lol that)

i would personally describe the way i say and give my reads as deliberate and purposeful rather than 'cagey' or 'hesitant' but whatever floats your boat.

and also i think a lot of my posting style tends to be more based on driving interactions and driving conversation (this is from my other site, since it is more real time interactions) and so i have a bad habit of explaining my reads after giving them, because i want people's initial reactions to my push, and to see who is curious why i'm pushing them.

thesunfan read not being explained is purposeful, but /shrug, its honestly probably not important at all, and i explained why in the tribe chat (that you're in) so if you're really curious you can look at it.

As for the rest of the big list:

seems a bit premature to have a full ordered tier list, and some of the reasoning I find pretty premature/suspect/possibly fake (i.e. tokzic, vagabond, reuben)

but

yeah i don't even have a full picture on the game yet so i guess i'm just gonna move on until i do and then perhaps revisit that post

I feel like I'm missing a part of your story.

i talked with shado quite a bit last night and he actually felt inquisitive/not overly worried about the fact that I thought he was wolf.

he just felt right

that doesn't excuse his crap posts itt which is why he's still null, and i'm gonna interact with him more to ensure it wasnt a 1 time thing where he tried to pocket me directly by seeking me out, but its a start

12. Charu - Seems less jovial and invested than usual, but owns up to it. I am still trying to decide if this is a good thing or not, because I get the impression he feels responsibility to his team as a mafia to infiltrate OOC circles and do well, or if this is a bad thing, because it is harder to be mafia in OOC and he may be bummed about it. The most notable thing from him so far I think, is that he seemed intense about not wanting Toxzic to share the tribe name. I am curious if anybody with more experience with Charu thinks this is meaningful.

Also, about the sharing part.

Call it flavor, call it what have you, but to label me a wolf for basically being cautious of this non-traditional TWG and finding out if there's any hidden mechanics within the game is pretty lame.

Much as the people currently on my tribe calling me a wolf because I'm apparently "disinterested" or saying "I'm a wolf".
