unfortunately I'm rather lost

it is almost impossible to glean any solid conclusions from reading shadowolfe, despite our best efforts

and right now i only really have blind, yeti, and maybe raeko as town

charu x manti has shaken my faith in both tbh

one thing I've noticed about raeko this game is her recurring tendency to discredit easy town leans

e.g. some ppl saying that yeti and shadow prolly weren't on the same team because of the in-thread coaching, her response was more or less "that's not necessarily true, they could have orchestrated this in wolfchat"

this happens a lot this game, and while I don't think now is the time to dig into it deeper, I want ppl to remember for subsequent phases

leaning that as town now though, going against the grain is hard -- the tricky part is that it doesn't really require a whole lot of "reads" or critical game thought and can be an easy mechanism for seeming to contribute to the game without actually doing anything

i.e. being contrarian for the sake of appearing active

Didn't really notice that but I think it's super wolfy, discrediting easy town leans is something wolves love to do

No offense to Ind, but is there any game you yourself haven't found him underwhelming? I feel like that's just his playatyle and he never stands out as a super strong pusher. I've liked his progressions and the yeti read didn't seem bad

iunno AA i kind of didnt buy InD SRing me

it felt like he was doing it reluctantly, "oh well i guess i dont have much to TR her for so i guess i have to SR her for a flimsy reason" or half-heartedly

like blind was pushing nonsense on me but he genuinely was pushing it, i didnt get the same sense with InD or asmo that they REALLY bought their SRs on me

I concede that ind Sr on you doesn't feel as strong as the blind one

Yeah actually idk now, I feel like the rest of his iso is town enough though that I wouldn't vote him today

:thinking: i disagree. I think having "easy town reads" is a good way to tunnel in the wrong direction. ignore things that could be hinting at wolfiness because people have been "cleared" by something incorrectly

re: Charu and Manti, I had charu as high town before but now I'm paranoid-ville with him, and Manti has risen upwards in his attack, so they are approaching the "same level" of towniness at the moment

I'm probably going to reread the exchange again but it kinda feels like t/t
