hey friend what makes it so different from backpack's stream-y one line posts

Backpack has several posts that are unique and look like they follow a logical train of through towards game solving. He has plenty of shutposting, but it's not fluffy gamesolving attempt shitposting.

well since you left it out of your restatement of the thing, it appears the key phrase is "the whole duration of the discussion" which you rewrote as "most of the discussion"

thought this implied he hadn't read the thread and you didn't expect him to be around to respond in real time at all, so you would think it's weird that he's making a time-sensitive yet game relevant comment of any type

which i can see now as a "joke", but it doesn't match the original context, which was about why he made a post about the alien discussion after that was pretty much already over and he said he just wasn't around for that bit, and that would be more narrow

i was trying to tell you he can have read parts of the thread that aren't about the alien to have an opinion on AA
