I have something against players who just town read without a reason.

More like I'm frustrated at how it's so obvious every time.

Tbh I saw your bit about how you hate getting town read and did it to annoy you.

I always leave you alone early because like sunfan you tend to make your intentions clear the later the game is. Your town game is rarely agenda driven so it's easy to spot when things are sour later.

I appreciate the fact that your digging thru interactions but let me save you some time and let you know there's nothing there.

Full disclosure, a peek behind the curtain if you will:

In the last 2 games haku has mentioned his annoyance at being town read early. I know hakus playstyle. If he thinks he's on to something, he will tunnel onto that scenario forever. He's tried to improve it recently but it remains a weakness of his playstyle.

To be honest, I saw him make the big post, gave him a town pass mentally for today and posted so.

Mistakenly, I used too much hyperbole in my verbage. Read haku posts, he picks up on this quickly and starts preassuring me about it. Knowing hakus nature and how I would have little success convincing him otherwise (plus I lacked the time to go for the volume tell to clear myself) I lied and said I was joking to get him off me and doing something productive.

When that failed, I tried intimidation. That partially worked but didn't have the desired effect and I knew all it really takes is one determined person to swing a lynch d0. And I didn't feel like dting early. So I slightly discredited him and used some more threats, then backed away and washed my hands of the situation and decided I've done all I could in the time I had. At that point nothing left but to let the chips fall.

Luckily enough people were convinced that I was not a good d0 lynch. (Including xel. Lol). Unluckily, I didn't have enough time to find a good counter wagon (like I mentioned). So WV died when it probably should've been new. Oh well. Life goes on.

It's plausible. I think mechanically wolves go for pr reads here over kills that make their position stronger, especially since iirc haku wasn't pressuring either of them much.

But that depends on the setup (which wolves know a lot more about than us). If there's no real threatening town prs then I could see a kill like the one you're describing happening. And if anyone was to make a mechanically incorrect kill it would be someone new at the game (like op/sanzath)

And before anyone says this, no im not throwing shade, just voicing my thoughts atm. If I decide to go on a path and push for a lynch trust me you'll know

Was it seedy? Yes.

Unnecessary? Arguable, I didn't have much time to get a task done that should've taken a good chunk of time. I'd argue it was necessary.

Worth it? Well I didn't die. Whether it's better having me alive or WV is a matter of opinion.

I figured someone would unravel the thread sooner or later so I had the outline of that post mentally drafted for a while.

People may throw stones, but town rarely acts towny, it's a fact of TWG. If I see a way out if a mislynch or I see the writing on the wall, I will use every tool available to make it happen.

That includes duplicity, threats, willful ignorance, and verbal abuse.

Well you know my stance on that ^^ Im probably not good enough for those aggressive strats you mention but will probably have to after some games or else rip my meta I guess ?
