Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
look at my acquisitioner/not acquisitioner post and tell me how you feel
if you think its good, this is as good of a shot as we'll have at hitting, I think.
I'll come up with some questions for the people I know the identities of, people can come up with ones for me.Comment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
Man, Microsoft should never do that if he's acquired, too.
And there's probably no way the acquisitioner is just sitting on AFK Alibaba in my mind... so its probably on someone doing something.Comment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
@MicrosoftWe know that:
IBM is not acquisitoned (replacement stuff, or at least its very likely they were not acquired)
Marlboro is not acquisitioned (replacement stuff, or at least its very likely they were not acquired)
GE is not acquisitioned because of the night death confirmation
Starbucks was not acquisitioned (no way someone puts in that much work into language analysis. I'll ISO him again to make sure stuff is consistent tho)
Shell was not acquisitioned (That player is REALLY HARD to impersonate, and the question I asked him is pretty lock, and I thought they were that player on d0)
We can guess that:
Google was not acquisitioned (Kinda trusting Shell here, I'll ISO them though)
McDonalds was not acquisitioned (I will ISO this player again but I made a snap read on their identity that I am almost positive is right and they've felt consistent)
I was not acquisitioned (Shell/Google/Starbucks can vouch for me on this one, I think)
Leaving:
Facebook (But I don't think so, I'll ISO)
Alibaba
Microsoft
can I get input on this?
Also Starbucks is correct about how his role works, as I understand it.Comment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
so to you it's down to facebook, abibaba and ge.
i would take ge off the list for now because of the un-countered vigi claim, but if there's only one kill tomorrow, he dies.
and there is potentially a way to make one kill: have doctor save ge so they can't be night-killed. obviously if ge dies, he was acquired. if vigi is acquired, there shouldn't be a vigi kill either leaving only a wolf killComment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
They're a good person to target and the replacement stuff makes it almost guaranteed that they get through today.
There's still the world that they felt good about who they targeted and don't want to change, as well.
This is really fucked. Ignorance sure was bliss.Comment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
lul
i can only assume that's said "in the spirit of anonymity" but something doesn't ring right with me.
i think the acq is between alibaba and facebook, if i want to look outside the claims. For example they only had so much information, but I think it looks decent for Facebook that Walmart was suggesting a lynch on them. Since the Acquisitioner's prime directive d1 is to live and second is probably to thin down the town, I assume any efforts to go against the flow were either to stave off a lynch or to push town
if it's not alibaba, that third section may actually be what happened. as alibaba says "I think it looks decent for Facebook that Walmart was suggesting a lynch on them."
maybe misdirection so that fb gets taken over by walmart?Comment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
Starbucks is almost certainly not acquired because they made a reference to something that we did when we met IRL that as far as I am aware was not public knowledge, so Starbucks is safe.
He is more than welcome to test me if he wants.
I'm thinking of something to ask Shell, McDonalds and Google, not sure if I could think of anything for Facebook.
Other than that, I'm not sure enough on the identities to think of questions for anyone aside from Marlboro, but I think they've already cleared themself enough.Comment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
ugh, good point. having at least 3 different players play that account definitely makes it easy to hide within.
also, alibaba and facebook may have a counterclaim. everything is kinda riding on them atmComment

Re: TWG CLXVIII: Capitalism [Game Thread]
I'd be shocked, but you are right.
The fact that Alibaba hasn't been replaced is something that's actually triggering me, even though I trust Xiz's ability to mod pretty highly.Comment
