Whether or not they can help with wolves isn't relevant in my opinion. They effect town negatively especially if they get a town power role. And speaking of that, can they use blue roles when they aquire the account? If they can, it's important to find them, if not, still important as we lose our town powers, but not as important solely because they can't use them.

They can't use blue roles, to my understanding. Their original company flips as the blue. The only real thing they have to gain is the wolf quicktopic.

I will admit right now I'm taking notes on both behaviors and gimmicks. This is the one time I get to do a linguistic analysis in a game when it might actually matter.

'Course, I wasn't saying that gimmicks are pointless, 'cause they can clearly work. Probably not. IBM knew wholeheartedly that his posting gimmick would draw attention, so unless he's the godfather, he's got some big balls to put himself on the forefront. On reflection, IBM is probably more town than not.

I would like to poll the audience on whether or not "posting quirks" like IBM, Shell, or maybe Visa are inherently scummy since the wolves have more to lose by being infiltrated and this have more of a motivation to prevent being targeted

I say general paranoia, so not necessarily. They'll definitely draw attention from power roles of both sides though, since they're bringing themselves to the forefront.

I don't think they steal their power, just their account. It's probably how janitor works in epicmafia where the acquisitioner's original account flips to what role they killed.
