I brought up that your entrance was weird too. I think it might have to do with your roleplay character and the short, choppy sentences? That sort of style could be easily faked as a wolf. It could also be the fact that you just showed up and made a few short posts and then left, but I think that makes sense given the timing

There was another good read but I don't remember it because HE HAS TOO MANY GOOD READS.

Explain what kind of GOOD READS I have, since I don't think I came with anything too groundbreaking, just read the thread and reported my thoughts. I'm honestly a little surprised that you read my post as that townie given that it's pretty much a single post I could easily fake as scum, as AA can attest.

Other than that, Sunfan's readwall speaks to me and how I play, so I'm wary of him for now but want to trust him.

No, I'm not much of one for digging. Consider the fact that a lot of people have voted for her as "Best Scum 2016" as proof enough imo.

Mmm, if she was voted for Best Scum 2016 then I'm kind of worried I might be pocketed then. She seemed pretty transparent in the Turbo but I didn't really get to see much of her play since I spent the last two hours of that Day 2 constantly apologizing and whining.

715 - I don't think Sunfan/shadoW are w/w, I don't think shadoW takes a dunk on his scumbuddy's post as scum immediately. The lack of vote there is kind of curious, though.

Ehhh. Maybe maybe not. 722 is bizarre coming after that post, where shadoW says that Sunfan is his "top wolf read" and then like OUT OF THE BLUE (Charu's post strong mindmeld btw) talks about mellon. Like, what?

ShadoWolfe - Can you clarify your sunfan/mellon scumreads? Do you think they both can be scum together?

The paranoia about mellon lurking feels kind of genuine from ShadoW, though? I dunno. It's the easiest thing to hit on in the world if he's scum but the sentiment feels /real/.

My view of this is. If mellonx is scum, then she'll be forced to post because lurking as scum kills you as scum. No way lurking scum are going to get to endgame while I'm alive, and scum winning while playing under the radar only seems possible if the rest of the town was not that great. In the games I've played, scum need to post or get lynched.

Aragaki - is there a reason why you're constantly voting the people who are.. just not here? I get using the vote, but it honestly feels like you're [voting X] -> [make them show up] -> [move on to next].

dbp's catchup does not really inspire me. dbp, can you do like an organized reads post like mine instead of quote striping and responding to things from pages and pages ago?

Fair. I dislike using the quote button (I prefer to quote manually) but I'll try to change that up for this game.

Kind of like AA's 813? Reminds me of Ice Cream Mafia where he did a similar thing with dyachei in that he went through her posts.

817 is a pretty solid post/case by AA and it echoes my thoughts on shadoW, specifically, his shading stuff is kind of worrisome.

Tentative townlean on AA because he feels similar to Ice Cream; actively digging through and casing people based on mindsets. I'm still kind of at a loss with this read because like I said last game I don't really have any idea on how to accurately read AA game to game because his scum game is pretty good, but I like his content and engagement level here.

mellon does feel defensive but I don't think it's really that alignment indicative? If people started to sling mud at me for being Not Here then I'd get pretty salty as well regardless of alignment. Kind of notched her a bit lower because of her good scum game but her posts seem OK for the most part?

924 is a pretty nuanced read on AA IMO and one that I like.

Charu feels pretty "there", like I read 3 pages and literally none of his posts/one liners have stood out to me. That is a little concerning.

I'm sad because I have a town read on Jade Harley, but I wanted to see interactions because I thought there was room for things to discuss here.

Okay everything is muddled up right now and I'm not really in a good place but here:

DBP is probably town
Xel probably town

Idk if anyone can tell but I basically was not okay about ten minutes ago. Being really sick to the point of "elephant skin" + this game just wasn't a good combo. Mainly to recover my dignity and pride as a player, I'm going to work my way back into this game. I'm just going to not give a fuck about people's reads on me for awhile and try to solve what I can. If that causes me to get lynched then so be it, but here's hoping we all come to our senses come tomorrow morning.

Also the bolded feels fairly genuine, and I was going to end this post with a vote on shadoW but I'm a little less sure after this post.

I like my vote on Jade Harley for now; haven't really seen anything from that slot that would change my read on her and the only thing she posted was the "you're a meanie" thing which is obviously NAI.

Yeah, I said this earlier but the string of posts he made while waiting in an Overwatch queue struck me as exceedingly genuine, with a tad of worry that he would be misunderstood and accused of being a wolf again.

The few games I played with FreezinIce in the past involves him constantly getting mislynched for posting in a similar manner has he did here.

I'm not talking about roleplay, but about saying things that appears as fairly wolfy. I tend to believe the point of the play was to bait others and get some reactions as someone who dislikes "meta based plays".

I think Haku is pretty clearly town. I'd put him one tier beneath "should never be lynched this game." Same shit as last game; convoluted thoughts that he is known to have an impossible time emulating as a wolf.

Charu's comparable to Lar in that I haven't disliked anything he's done. The read on # of posts people have made is more likely to come from town Charu, and he has an air of seriousness around his posts, despite von Karma images and such. I'd be surprised if I was wrong on this one.

I think Proph is doing things that make sense for him to do as town. His read on raeko's read on green text is especially a good look for him. Him asking me a question after posting about how he was excited to play with me lines up well in a way that I don't think wolves usually think about. There was another good read but I don't remember it because HE HAS TOO MANY GOOD READS.(??) From what I understand AA et al dumpstered him in a game on MU so I don't expect him to be tooooo good of a wolf, so that's part of why the read is so strong.

Lar is doing consistent things.(!!!!) I have to admit that I'm not really sure if I know how to catch Lar when he's a wolf, and that I am probably more likely to misread him than read him correctly. I don't dislike anything he's done in the sense that I haven't found anything that I don't think makes sense for him to do as a wolf. I kinda can't justify him as a nullread if he's posted this much and I haven't disliked anything, if that makes sense. He's my weakest townread.

not gonna touch on Witch, raeko, DBP, Harley or roundbox very much. I should have a more developed read on roundbox rn but I don't. Its a "me" thing not a "him" thing so I'll work on that later. Raeko I can't really read that well, especially early on. I'll be looking for the same stuff that let me read her strongly as town last game but its too early to tell atm. I'm leaving DBP alone for now as well. Already talked about Harley; I do admit that I have 3/4 votes as townleans but I don't care too too much about that rn. Probably at least 1 wolf in these names so I'm gonna work on expanding the list

AA has said some things that I really didn't like, followed by explanations that make me feel a bit better about him. He initially posted about going afk because he felt a tunnel developing on shado, which I thought made no fucking sense for AA to do, but I think I misread what he was saying there. There was another one that I don't remember rn. He's not matching my expectations of him this game, basically. My weakest of the "fry squints," and if he's town I expect to be able to read him correctly sooner rather than later.

Xel is being underwhelming again but its again too early to say for sure. I don't care too much about his string of posts about queuing in Overwatch, but I do want it known that he would ABSOLUTELY do it as a wolf even though he was scumread for it last game.

Shado I've talked a little bit about already. The thing I dislike the most about him was where, honestly, it felt like he was trying to flip the table on me. He more subtly-than-not equated two things, one of which I said and one of which I didn't, and threw that back at me, relating sense of humor to personality. After seeing Shado wolf last game and during Secret Hitler in lTWG, I think that I have a much better grasp of his wolfgame than I did before. I think I even texted AA as such.

Okay, I see why you keep asking about "generalizations". When I was writing that post, I remember writing "lack of specificity, broad generalizations, ...." and then erasing "lack of specificity because I didn't want to be redundant. I shouldn't have erased it, because they aren't the same thing. Two things that stood out to me on reread is.. how does he know what if Prophs reads are right or not? and why did he skip over so many people?

I've put generalizations in bold, lack of specificity in underlined italics, combination in both, and exclamations/questionmarks between parentheses are from me.

State of my thoughts in no real order:
Charu is a town lean since I agree with/like (almost) everything he's pointed out so far and I get a sense of genuine town interest.

I like Backpack's content, as well as his responding to my question eariler by trying to bring up something specific to discuss (as I understood) , so he gets a solid town lean.

sunfan/AA look town from genuine-seeming work to figure things out.

Haku strikes me as showing a good deal of genuine town intent as well.

Shado is a town lean, I don't think a wolf risks attention and/or votes by getting into a fight like that.

A (slighter) lean goes to mellon for the aggressiveness on her end, however.

MML pushed the "UTR mellon" issue a little too much for my taste, but that's null. Un-wolfish level of aggressiveness as well. Pressuring someone into posting then criticizing them for being defensive and not really having anything to add is bad, however.

I like Proph's thoughts just now.

All others null.

Other notes:
To clarify the Backpack read, the purpose of that question was not an attempt at focusing the discussion (because bringing things out of RVS/shitpost mode is far from my strong suit) but to prompt others to bring up how and with what they would, and Backpack gave the best answer (not "someone will make a vote and content will happen" or an attempt to analyze me, but attempting to raise a topic for general discussion (whether those who hadn't spoken yet were suspicious for it or not), regardless of whether it got anywhere.

AA seems to be starting to tunnel Shado about the mellon issue.

@AragakiAyase #700 How/Why did Charu quoting my post and his reply lead you to see there wasn't any follow up when you apparently didn't before?
