Re: TWG CLXIII: Allies and Adversaries 2 - GAME THREAD
it's time to dissect xelnya's readlist
mellon iso:
how do you quote so little relevant stuff? I think mellon has done a good job of actively producing reads and taking stances and asking questions, but what you have here is basically a shitpost, a mechanics oriented question, a reads list, and a read. You seem to take the most issue with the shitpost (lol), take no stance on the mechanics post (fine, but the way you did it weird to me because you go one way and then the other). then you have a problem with her clarifying her scum reads? I think that was actually a towny thing to do and I don't think it was too early to make that kind of post. Then you say that post where she makes a read on shado is good, fine. But no other comments? based on your analysis presented, it seems like she'd be fairly null or even a scum lean, but you come out with her as a town lean.
next is me
so you have a problem with me speculating about the nightkill (or lack thereof in this case), fine, I can see that. But your reasoning for why I shouldn't speculate is pretty questionable, because your statement that statistically the wolves have a super high chance of hitting a town on the first try is just wrong. Could get more into math but it's about equal to what I'm guessing the distribution of the wolves is (8-3) so I think it's plausible that they were scared to kill. My thoughts were based largely off of last setup when I heard that wolves had used sabo to knock someone out ASAP, and I figured they would do it again if they had the chance (didn't actually know about the cd lolme). The next few quotes are fine, but then the "this is a little more gross in hindsight" part doesn't make any sense. Can you explain why you have the last 3 quotes the way you did, and how that makes me a scumlean? the posts you've picked out dont' seem to have any real thought process behind them.
posting this now because I have class soon, will go through the entire reads list dw
