Don't worry, feelingzwontfade, I will still accept that score. And with that, this brings us to the end of Round 1 (Results will come out tomorrow). Anyways, we can now start....

Round 2

A lot of you really wanted a team event in this tournament (Name says it all). Well, here in this round, you are getting a true team event! Now, within the tournament spreadsheet, there are a series of 21 riddles/puzzles/questions contained there. What lies in each puzzle/riddle....are objectives that you must try to complete. The answers to each of these riddles or puzzles are within the FFR songlist; however, there is just one catch to this round:

- In this round, all score/screenshots of the answers and objectives completed must be PM'd either to Deadlyx39 or myself. Posting score/answers in this thread will NOT be allowed in this round..Failure to comply may result in penalties being applied.

In addition, for this round, I will try my best to create an individual spreadsheet for each team and make sure that only members of each team and their members be able to see their own team's spreadsheet (Although, I definitely need help with that. If anyone does know how to do so, then please let me know)

NOTE: With the scores/screenshots, I would prefer if you passed the songs.

1st - 75,000 Credits
2nd - 35,000 Credits
3rd - 15,000 Credits
4th - 5,000 Credits
5th - 5,000 Credits (Credit prize may be subjected to change based on credit pot, if increased)

I'm a bit confused with this round. With the riddles/puzzles - when/if we figure out what song it is, can it be any level? Or do we have to play the song that is our division level?

also, ummm... why dont you just PM people the riddles? im a bit confused. havent gotten an email of the clues yet, and apparently time is ticking already.

Regarding the riddles/puzzles, the answers/proposed solutions are the songs you play. As far as does a specific person within your team have to play the songs....no...your team can discuss which riddles/songs each member should handle.

So I'm looking at some of the challenges for this round... i personally think putting in PA spread challenges is a hard task for players of all skill levels, let alone getting a PA spread of a date on an 80+. Or 86 or whatever the new difficulties are. Anti-skill + riddles + weird way of getting clues and even submitting scores = should i even continue?

Regarding the round itself, I tried my best to balance the difficulty of the puzzles themselves against the objectives. The benefit for this round is you do not necessarily have to pass the songs to clear them (unless an FC is required).The reason for the way the round is designed is because I don't want anyone to spoil the answers on the thread.

Most of the challenges break if you don't require a pass- most notably:

"Get number of misses equal to the number of Norse Gods and Goddesses named for the days of the week"
Miss the right amount of notes notes, autofail out.

"Get 12 Goods, Averages, Misses, or Boos"
Hit 2 notes, miss 12.

"Attain a max combo that is divisible by 3"
Hit 3, fail out.

"Get a Raw Score that is divisible by 36"
Average, boo, boo, autofail. 0 points, 0/36 = 0.

I'd suggest requiring a pass on all non-PA spread challenges for balance reasons.
edit: either that, or a pass is worth 2 points but a non-pass that meets the requirement is worth 1 point.

Honestly, I think this tourney might retire me. The chances of me hitting a 1 frame window, where I don't even know where that window is, 9 times in a song.... I think I'll try my luck at the lottery instead.

I do feel bad that the host is soloing this tourney, but this round is pretty impossible.

Most of the round is fine, it's just the specific PA requirements that are an issue.
Potential fix of have those numbers in the PA spread, so a 0, 1, 8 and 9 instead of 1-9-8-0?

Though this on the whole has been..rather questionable with obvious rule patches everywhere.

It's totally fine as it is, especially considering that passing is not required.

I like this round. There's one song that's really difficult to meet the requirements on, but for the most part it's doable. Chin up, y'all. Let's do this ishh.

to ddrngg: would it be possible for you to post a list showing how many of the puzzles each team has currently completed? it makes it feel a bit disorganized that there is no information on each team's progress.

I dont think we should be given other team progresses, or even our own. Just turn in your answers, some will be right and some won't. Team with thr most correct requirements met wins
