Ohhh, nice MA there Cerise. I'm def rusty asf myself. I've been playing BCMP songs on rates to help get my speed back up to par since I've always been shit with MA lawlawlawl Himoko on 1.2x rate is fucking hilarious btw.

So, I wanna get into stepmania, but I'm lost. I played some mobile app rhythm games, but I wasn't feeling FFR's 4 arrows coming back from a long time away from it, so solo seemed like my best bet. Where's a good place to start?

download stepmania 5.0.12 and install that, then replace the .exe in the "Program" folder with xwidghet's .exe.

then check this thread for solo/6k packs. you extract them into the "Songs" folder

2017 bumperino. Lets ring in the new year for the thread with some bad scores from a bad player!

I feel like I finally broke a wall! Here are a variety of scores that I got tonight that are either first passes or besting my old scores. We'll start with the latter first:

Still not very good at this one. Like Saber Wing, its a speed thing, since I can read it just fine...


Not very clean, as I still mess up some of the chords in the middle, but it felt lots better


Ruined.


I think for this one its a matter of speed. I can read it just fine but it's still a bit of a struggle to get the streamy bits.


Finally passed it!

Haven't played solo in a while. This felt pretty good Not sure what my actual best is since it's on my home PC. My work keyboard can't do jackhammers for shit so I always get a ton of misses on them =/
