seems like it's going to be mostly limited to metal and jazz as far as music that's actually interesting to step. electronic music didn't really blossom until the 2000s

yet I stepped fingerpicking, punk, hiphop, rave, reggae and funk besides various rock genres
"interesting to step" is only limited by the stepper

Most classical music that would be interesting to step is from the 17th-19th centuries tho

rachmaninov and shostakovich are both in the 1900s just to name two

Youch, I actually take a little offense to this, there is an ENORMOUS library of amazing classical music from the 20th century that would make for good stepping. Again, hard as shit to sync most of this stuff, but that doesn't make it any less steppable

Coincidentally Frank Zappa composed some of the 20th century classical music that might be good to step:

electronic music didn't really blossom until the 2000s

Aphex Twin's first 4 albums are from the 90s, Squarepusher's early stuff is from then too, this statement is ignoring a large amount of relevant music.

You know I was thinking about that, and I'm gonna go ahead and say no. The purpose of the pack was to sort of take you out of the norm of music you step. And you really can't do that if you're stepping a remix of a old song that was released lately
