funnily enough i was expecting to be put in d6 this tourney for some borderline scores i got during sign-ups and practiced a bunch on the ffrmania engine so i'd last a couple of rounds

lol I was D6 in the last official. now i'm D5 again. whoopsies.

Have you not? D3 must be even wider than I thought.

Or have you just not been playing other songs?

I'm D3 to the extent that I'd probably get eliminated in D4 before the final round.

My entire gameplay of how well I can play songs is based around being able to AAA. If I drop like 40 goods on a song, even with no boos or misses its a garbage score to me, and means I can't play the song.

see I like playing the harder songs so when I get a good or something I don't get too upset. if I know I can AAA a song its just not as fun to me

In an OT, no one in the final round is ever the same division they started out in.
Except D7, and even then the three in the final round are the kind of players who make people suggest adding an 8th division.

tournament content: a helpful isolation for Heartache probably starts at something like 650 for 200 notes, as that seems to be the part giving me the most trouble - have a bunch of minijacks

Agree with yah there. I'm terrible at AAAing anything but I can SDG a few mid 70s and still don't have oni. I honestly think I'm never going to get oni because whoring songs for AAAs just isn't fun to me. I'd rather play stuff I'm terrible at and get those down to SDGs instead
