Almost forgot about week one. Working a 50 hour week this week has really done a number on me but thankfully I remembered tonight. Got this score but it didn't record. I'll likely beat it tomorrow morning but just in case...

Some of the jumps thown in those streams and gallop passages towards the end are tricky and I start getting nervous if I know I've been having a really good run. My heart pounds a bit and I'm like "OH GOD THIS COULD BE IT" and then I start messing up hahah

i almost aaa'd the d5 song only once, but i'm just sticking with 3g since it's not really worth it to attempt aaa'ing all of the jacks

edit: okay nevermind i just tried playing it one more time and i got 1-0-0-1 so i'm not sticking with the 3g then

I'm wondering... Since i got promoted to d4 during week one, would I now be d4 in tourney and have to play d4 in rd2? My score on d4 rd1 would move me on for sure, but I'm curious now if I stay in d3 or move up for next round.

skill rating/division on the site is independent of tournament division. if you're going to be moved up in the tournament usually the organizers will be in touch with you.

we don't normally force bump anyone unless it seems like there was a sandbagging attempt or a very clear mistake. People are going to get better over the course of the tournament it's pretty normal. We've seen people go from D1 to 4 (skill wise) in a tournament before.

we do however give people the option to be bumped up if they'd like to be. So if you wanted to move into D4 given your improvement this early in the tournament I'd be happy to do so.
