I was seventeen at the time, and had they counter-sued or forced me to get a good lawyer to counter their own, then I would have left with less money than I had gone in with, which was not a terribley large amount at the time.

I think I am going to do this in my spare time and write up an essay. Not leanign towards either side but just a factual essay but I will decide who I think may have the upper hand. As for your story, I think your frustration had a lot more to do with you being 17 and in a position without much authority than you being a guy.
