my first phase strat is to obfuscate my reads as they develop, throw my vote around indiscriminately, and act provocative to the people i want to get a clearer read on

im not sure i like the D1 strategy posted here... seems very... scummy.... not showing reasoning sounds quite scummy indeed, and combined with trying to confuse everyone... well... why would town want everyone confused??

is this what "soft-defending" me is supposed to be

given this was in a discussion of whether or not i'm town, it doesn't really sound like soft-defending to me, he's just saying that my play so far doesn't really indicate anything, which is fair enough

after reading this exchange, my capricious nature has decided clownpiece gets the redtext for now, and plop can relax for the time being

I agree with your MrP read. What struck me the most about him off the bat was the aggressive nature of his shitposts. That is out of character for Plop - I have never seen him play prickly as a town. His actual content has been reading kind of towny, but Plop is a good wolf and I could see him making those posts as a red.

I cannot shake the first impression I got from the first eight pages of the thread or so. I don't think he should be our lynch for D1 but I'm watching him close.

I do not agree with your Xel read. Xel has been shitposting a lot, yes, but Clownpiece is absolutely more suspicious than XelNya in my eyes. Xel has been about 50/50 with his content to shitpost ratio this phase. Clownpiece is closer to 10/90. Clownpiece also feigns "usefulness" by asking questions but mostly they're just asking people to develop their reads, which he himself has not done AT ALL.



this is a cool strategy i like it

it'd be cool if everybody posted a hypothetical hide target or two, if they were hypothetically the hider, and try to spread across as much of the player pool as possible by our forces combined

(was this sunfan's plan i can't remember what his hider strat was i was really high when i read the thread last night)

there is a lot more "me and bun buns are the coolierestest buds" as well as some more smashing down more on clown...
i also dont agree with plop being a woof but whatever..

charu and sunfan are impenetrable walls of tone neutrality and i don't even have a minor clue which one of them is a wolf (and believe me, one of them is)

heres i post i have a problem with.... if tokzic is a woof, then i'd believe that both charu and sun are town... Unless tokzic is really the type of guy who will bus his own teammate D1. If sunfan is a woof like i think he is, then i feel like this is either distancing, or tokzic actually being town..

this makes things more complicated.... in the end this vote is for me suspecting sunfan... theres more to it than that but this is the important part.
Remember that tokzic was suspicions of sunfan earlier... this could lead to the likely fact that tokzic was trying to bus sunfan and when someone started to catch on that sunfan was a woof he decided to defend where he could.

I do think you're right in that if the Hider stays alive for 2-3 phases it is highest utility for them to claim and list all the people they didn't die hiding behind for the sake of lock-clearing those players.

But if you want to use the Hider as a Seer, the convoluted bit of the plan is just as important. If they die, we don't get any information - hence, hypothetical hides. They are convoluted, yes, but they are definitely worth doing. The only ones you even have to worry about are from the people who die.

I feel you, Storn. This is a game where lock-clearing three players (the two safe targets plus the Hider themselves) would absolutely be worth the claim.

I don't think this is a good phase for a Hider claim, but if they survive until next one I think that information would totally be worth claiming for.

i feel like these quotes are more likely to be said as town than anything.... it really feels like tokzic wants the most out of our hider here.

If i could give tokzic two reads at this point it would be a strong town lean with a slight woof lean. i know thats very oxymoronic but i feel like until tokzic does something suspicious he's a pretty safe town lean.

I do have to say something about Greg that's been off for me. Last forum we played together, it was blatantly obvious he was town. This game, I'm not getting the same vibe. Not sure if it's cause he is around you guys rather than us DMers, but it's odd to me.

mentions the hardness of reading sunfan, which if she could easily read him as towny seems to further conclude that sunfan is a woof. this is either a woof being very convieniently unsure about her partner, or the more likely a town being suspicious of a likely woof.

Also, Greg in last forum game came out super towny. He was universally read town by everyone including the mafia. I'm just not getting the same vibe from him this game. He's more mechanical here rather than read based. He says there's a reason to it but I'm not seeing it fully yet. But I don't think he is the lynch today.

I agree he was weird, but probably not mafia... Like i said he softed something to me in thread, made me think he was just a vt. So doubtful he was vigged.

As for round, the fact that people were pressuring him makes me think hider/vig potential kill.

I also think that with a hider and no flips, makes it extremely hard to suss out roles and who mafia are/ why they killed who they killed, but thats where my mind is at.

Also I've also given reads on who I think is town, why I think those who died in the night died, and am trying to be as active as possible.

We've played one game together where I was a wolf..it was that jtwg where zenith outed himself as a wolf at eod day 1 and got killed day 2 and I got rekt at endgame by dfr. Iirc you were still alive at the end of that game..so wtf are you talking about bro.

I played Freedom planet for like 3 hours and finally got past the boss I was stuck on.

Only to get stuck again on the next level.

Freedom Planet is awesooooome, also there was this one boss I was raging at in that game before. Was with that snake dude or something with a rain-y arena. Screw that boss.

I am torn on storn right now, though I need to analyze his interactions.

I would support a bunny lynch as she is in clown's shoes atm, and has given no IMO adequate defense. I haven't seen her say to anybody, "no im not a wolf, this is who Im after" in those words or any others.

Tho as of now my personal vote goes to charu, but I wont place it until tomorrow or until I ISO him
