Re: TWG CXLII - A Storm of Hard and Boiled [Game Thread]
I do think you're right in that if the Hider stays alive for 2-3 phases it is highest utility for them to claim and list all the people they didn't die hiding behind for the sake of lock-clearing those players.hold on.. i thinking something....... wouldn't it be best just to use the hider as a free seer? i mean..... with cardflips off.. it might just be a good idea to have the actual hider claim and say who they hid behind. (not who they are hiding behind). the suggested everyone claim who you're going to hide behind just sounds stupidly convoluted. with card flips off we have no way to say "bob died and was the hider. he hid behind either bill or george" having everyone claim gives more info to the woofs than anyone else....
please realize im not saying the hider should claim now, but in the place where they feel they can protect someone by having hid behind them or feels that they need to make some townies locked clear it wouldn't be a bad idea...
But if you want to use the Hider as a Seer, the convoluted bit of the plan is just as important. If they die, we don't get any information - hence, hypothetical hides. They are convoluted, yes, but they are definitely worth doing. The only ones you even have to worry about are from the people who die.Comment

Re: TWG CXLII - A Storm of Hard and Boiled [Game Thread]
again, im not saying the hider needs to claim now... or ever.... just that it would be a better idea that the hider claims at a time they feel is right instead of giving this weird claiming hiding spots thing.....Comment

...Now that I think about it, why the fuck did they go after Roundbox?
Who's the one who suggested a better plan? Was it Roundbox or buns?
Roundbox was opposed to it if I recall, let me go back to the post.

Re: TWG CXLII - A Storm of Hard and Boiled [Game Thread]
There it is.So sunfans plan is garbo since wolves will be able to alter their kill decisions if they know a player is targeting a wolf. If the hider targets the wolf, they die. The wolves will just pick from people who haven't chosen hiding positions, players who have chosen non wolf targets, and wolves can also look for people who have not been hidden behind and make decisions based off of that. Everyone hypoing vs a soft. The decision is pretty clear in my eyes as to which is more beneficial to town.

I feel you, Storn. This is a game where lock-clearing three players (the two safe targets plus the Hider themselves) would absolutely be worth the claim.
I don't think this is a good phase for a Hider claim, but if they survive until next one I think that information would totally be worth claiming for.Comment

Okay, she said it afterwards, hmm...So I'm extremely sick today. Probably will be sleeping the day on and off til I can get my boyfriend to come bring me some medicine and something I can actually eat.
Now that slank cover is established, on to reads.
The reason why I said I'm hiding behind either xel or mrp is because I'm thinking at least one of them is wolf. Both of them I am getting a dummy vibes from. I think Xel has been posting a lot, but it is a lot of useless things. I can't really remember a single post that has stood out to me. I fell he is posting a lot for the sake of posti,g to have posts and to look towny. Mr P read is more of a guy read. Don't know how to read him, but his posts just give off a dummy vibe. I can quote one of them later when I switch from my phone to my computer. I said I'll hide behind whoever I can't get lynch to post a hider cover, and in case I am actual hides and die, you'll know that one of them is likely to be wolf.
@Rzr I never specifically has an interaction with tok, so not sure where you are seeing an interaction or read?
Also who is mashii?

Roundbox pointed out that everyone listing one hide target was bad.
Bunnies was the one who pointed out listing two hide targets was good.Comment

So then... if we are to assume sunfan is woof and got rekt by the vigi, then the woof saw Roundbox's disagreement, and thought maybe that could be what a PR would think?
Then that leaves bun... ooo...
I think we found another wolf guys.
