gotta new reads list to post but I wanna fill it in with some pretty quotes ***

I always get kind of suspicious when someone announces a reads list since it seems more like impression management, but rzr updated his previous reads list

additionally, each of his lists only have one line of text with them:

The Players of the Storm:
1 - DaBack of Packs - towny feel, one of the only people i notice pushing questions around
2 - Red Blastoise - I want a meta reading Xel seems to have a good one on RB, seems to be trying not sure if it's self pres or rep pres
3 - rzrzrzrzrzrzrzrzrzr - illogical
4 - storn420 - not enough to read really, just about everyone is acting the same way he is
5 - Tokzic ayy - i always beef with inactivity
6 - Plopadop - could get my vote, plop seems to have put his nose in just enough to be in the big picture but not actually stir the pot at all
7 - just a box that is round - same as plop, not my best town lean for now lol
8 - Clownpiece heidy - def trying harder than last time, maybe cuz Zenith isn't in the way, maybe because he needs to push an actual lynch
9 - XelNya the gif lord - beef with RB? never got any reading on xel's meta last game, so currently comparing here
10 - thesunfan of flags - charu? seems slightly out of character to humor 18 pages of bs lol, but idk sunfan well enough to say that
11 - THE Charu - sunfan? unless someone sheds osme light on his charuposting i think it will be really difficult to get a reading on him, though I'd tend to say this is standard. still digging through the plethora of posts so far lol
12 - Mashiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii<3 - null like tokzic
13 - 27ninjabunnies the lone bunny - seems to have a good handle here, one of my more towny leads but also she gives off the vibe she's good at pulling the wool over eyes.

my biggest focus' for now in no order are sunfan, charu, and bunny

The Players of the Storm:
1 - DaBack of Packs - 50/50, I wanna lean green here but I can't completely it's way too early
2 - Red Blastoise - no meta, don't like the reserved tone but if I were in his shoes I would probably act the same way
3 - rzrzrzrzrzrzrzrzrzr - still illogical
4 - storn420 - no meta here, but storn seems to be staying in his own direction which I can appreciate since I don't get the feeling he's trying to steer the game away. Is predicting your death an attempt to divert wolf/vigilante suspicion? Or just going with the flow
5 - Tokzic ayy - on the red side, nothing concrete but I have that gut feeling that between tok/bunnies there is a wolf
6 - Plopadop - as much as I like plop I don't see anything here, he's very null for me because I don't think he would post as much as he has been, but I know nothing of his meta. Tho he doesn't seem to want to do too much tunneling
7 - just a box that is round - is remding me exactly of his play last game where he was hella town, seer or some shit I think
8 - Clownpiece heidy - I have 2 concerns here, one is that clown was hastily thrown under the bus last game, the second is that clown is not acting like a digger and seems to be unconcerned with pawning logic off back into the thread
9 - XelNya the gif lord - roundbox takes a lot mor green out of xel than I do, but Xel is also reminding me a lot of last game and he was hulky then
10 - thesunfan of flags - between dbp and sunfan I don't trust one, and I'd bet my money on sunfan
11 - THE Charu - now closer to eod I see charu pushing more intellectual posts around and less fluff, I hope this continues since it's easier to see if you're a berzeker by nature or for cover
12 - Mashiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii<3 - as far as targetting an inactive take the cake here, didn't get anything from reads list and I hope he doesn't sit down like Ben did last game
13 - 27ninjabunnies the lone bunny - like I said between tok and bunnies I'd say there's some salt

but he goes above and beyond with his large quote train, and with posts like this:

The way I see it based on interactions so far one of the following could/should be a wolf out of the following pairs
DaBack of Packs - storn420
Plopadop <---> XelNya the gif lord

@dbp I hear a lot of questions revolving around Xel, what exactly about the posting style gives you a green vibe? Granted I am seeing a lot of the same character I saw last game

so from my experience, in his games his attitude is roughly consistent with not giving a shit and posting maymays

the difference is that town-Xel makes meaningful, original contributions whereas wolf-Xel makes attempts to appear contributing but repeats previous sentiments

I realize that this model has a low threshold for towniness so it's not a clear per se, but that's where I'm leaning for now

will depend how he keeps up

Here's some logical thinking.

XelNya saying not,giving a f,then posting nonsensical stuff is scummy.

Mr. P coming into thread attempting to make a joke to what seems like insertting self in conversation is scummy, but I like his response me calling his posts boring.

Everyone else is boring.

Do something. Impress me enough to where I want to come back.

I do have to say something about Greg that's been off for me. Last forum we played together, it was blatantly obvious he was town. This game, I'm not getting the same vibe. Not sure if it's cause he is around you guys rather than us DMers, but it's odd to me.

I find the posting tone towny. Not specifically what he is saying.

And not necessarily. You seem more townier now than not. Especially now questioning things.

I honestly think day 1 is going to be a hit or miss thing for me than actually analysis until I can analyze how you guys play.

With not much to go on from yall, and no meta, it's hard for me to base my reads.

Rzr seems pretty towny.

I like DBP for the questioning and the read on Greg.

I think Greg is definitely different this game than the last forum game I played with him, and someone else noted this.

Charu/Storn both seem like a worse version of Stromslyde (greg will get this reference)

And while I didn't originally like Mr.P, I'm definitely liking him more than Xel.

Everyone else is meh/hasnt posted yet.

I totally get that it's hard to make reads on people you've never met

but almost all of these reads are based on tone and tone alone -- there's no real analysis of content (except possibly for Sun's plan, but that seems to tie more into his "strange posting" this game)

normally I'd classify exclusive tone-reading as scum behavior and as struggling to make meaningful contributions, but with circumstances of not having much to work with, I'd give her benefit of the doubt

but I do think it's time to refine those reads now

for example, if Sunfan is a wolf, what's his motivation for making that plan he talked about? where does that fit in with his other posts? etc

as Clownpiece mentioned, I think this would be a really good indicator of wolf protecting wolf
