Investing is something you should start early, as early as 21-25 years old if you want a better retirement. My dad knows so much about investing, he's my go-to when I have a question about anything investing-wise.
+1 this idea of making an investing section, we are all getting older and now is actually the perfect time to start making people see that investing early is going to help them out a ton in the long run. Thanks for bringing this up Arch.

Also why is "summon" in quotation marks as usually that signifies an alternate meaning like for example last night I "visited" your mother but it really means last night I "fucked her in the ass" so exactly what is the subtext of "summon" because I am not sure I am comfortable with the implications

im usually the "nice guy" around these parts.. but this is bad, and you should feel bad. i would rather dip my balls in honey and hover them over a red ant hill than to ever hear such butchered crap.
that sounds pretty cool, but seeing as how im a broke 17 year old ive got nothing to invest lol. good luck on all this though.

Rap music is music. However, It's not in the traditional sense of how we understand music. The vocals are filled with slangs that gangs used since the 70s and a lot of the instrumentations are replaced with "Street Sounds" instead of traditional instruments. Music is defined as any combination of sounds that is pleasing to the ear, so while one person may find it as "noise" another person can find it pleasing to the ear and so call "vibe" with it as how I think the kids would say it these days.
I think the reasoning behind not adding it is simply because there isn't going to be a huge amount of discussion given that very few have the expertise/knowledge to really discuss anything about it. With regards to the community base, it would fit better as Chit Chat discussion. I could be incorrect, but that's how I see it.
I personally don't disagree with adding this section either. I think anyone could use and would welcome investing tips, despite how out of place it might be. People thought (myself included) that the fitness forums were not going to do well, and they're relatively active with occasional input from people other than the regulars. It didn't flop.
I'm alright with this addition personally, but it is up to administration to change their mind.

This is really the most valuable thing about the fitness forum -- a few knowledgeable people have helped others learn to discuss it.
It's been really unclear why "but it won't get many posts" is a good reason to not have a forum. There is no physical idea of space here; there is no kind of limitation on how many forums you can have. You aren't somehow limiting the activity of one forum because another less active forum exists, and I suspect that's the mentality involved in dismissing a new forum's creation.
admin-derived topical forums feel pretty outdated now that the reddit/8chan-type "create yr own space" model is so popular. a thing like that only tied to the site might be very special

just given how badly ffr seems to be ran in the backend an investment forum may inadvertently cause a bunch of backups of NULL topics that aren't being posted by the 7 other people that post on the forums
