I'm still not sure how much I'm willing to do this anymore.

It's not just you guys and those dropping out; it's actually more that I've lost quite a bit of interest in FFR over the past week, and I'm also somewhat busy with classwork lately too.

it's honestly up to you dude. we arent going to start hating you for being too busy to host 1 tourney, not the end of the world or anything. just do what you feel is best man

I'm still interested, but if you don't feel that confident or hopeful of this becoming successful then don't go push yourself to do it. In the end some people probably still not going to post scores and such which will always happen. Same could happen to me with these essays and future speeches I'm preparing THOUGH I always try to get some score posted. Though I can see FFR has diminished over time, especially after that whole crash that lasted like a year of the site.

Really up to you of the fate of this tourney =u
But, I would not be mad or upset and bitter if it did get cancelled.

So, I took the time over this weekend between schoolwork to really consider whether or not I want to do this.

For the first time since I've ever been a co-host or the host of a tournament, I have decided to opt out of doing this tournament idea.

The sudden increase in drop out rate was actually not the biggest reason why; in fact, I am confident that there is still a sufficient group of people that would be able to participate in this. I simply don't have any interest in doing this anymore, and if I don't have interest committing to a time-intensive event, then it is safe to say that it is not going to turn out well. The idea seemed great in concept, but I don't think I could honestly commit to being on at random points through any given day of the week on schedule -- there's simply too much opportunity for error.

I will be returning credits to those who donated, and I will be paying out the qualification prize as intended: 1 credit per perfect. If there are still credits remaining from my original stake of 250,000 credits, I will distribute them evenly to the rest of the users.

Sorry for those who were looking forward to this; this is not the easiest thing for me to admit given that I've hosted/co-hosted a large number of events and this is the first time that I've backed out of hosting.

I'm derping the actual divisionless tourney atm... shit's hard lol

It's all good TC; at least I don't hold it against you for dropping out hope one day you'll find the motivation to make this thing again though (hopefully I won't be gone by then lol).

I'm about to distribute credits right now for the mock qualifier.

Mahou and Rapta: because you didn't submit scores, you were only eligible for the participation credit sum and nothing more.

Those of you that did submit received 1 credit per perfect over the span of the songs. However, it didn't completely rid of the 250,000 that I allocated to the tournament, so I arbitrarily added another 5,000 credits to everyone in an effort to remove credits. That still wasn't enough, so I just divided the remaining credits and rounded upward to distribute the last bit.

The lowest amount of credits, handed out to Mahou and Rapta, is 8,350. Everyone else was in the 15-19k range. I'm working on handing those out right now. After that, I'll release all credits back to those who donated.
