That's like an 8 loss streak for me, so I figured mathematically that I would have the edge in winning the 25k, but alas, gambling hall proves me wrong.

There are two possible outcomes, the 50% probability says absolutely nothing about real world results. It's expected outcomes, just like the chances of winning relative to a set of bets. It's only a guideline of what is to be expected, nothing more.

I must've been thinking of something else, I had the knowledge that the more you lose, the better your chances were at actually winning once, from starting at 50% up to a maximum of 75%, but I have the urge that it's from somewhere else
