Don't worry, if he's a wolf, we'd be able to tell from some stupid slip-up.Comment

Re: jTWG LXIX: MECHANICAL POWER OF LOVEEEEE Game Thread
Ah, sorry for the confusion. I have played before, but I haven't played in a few months.Nah, tps, your post is perfectly good!!!
Guess I should ask now; have you played TWG previously? And if so, how much experience do you have with it? You mentioned not having played forum TWG in a while, but I'm not sure if that implies you play non-forum TWG often or TWG in general rarely.
I know day 1's are generally silly, loose and generate a "say anything for a reaction" but I've never subscribed to the idea of treating it casually. We gotta get off to a good start in a game where we can only mislynch 3 or 4 times. I'm a bit surprised that Red Blaster was more focused on agreeing with mellonxcollie and calling my post "goofy" instead of giving his opinion on the proposed strategy. The day is still really young so I'll give people time to process and formulate an opinion, but I'd like to hear some thoughts on how we collectively should approach handling these roles.Comment

It seems like the strategy of someone who rolled wolf and is like "oh shit, gotta play WIM so I look super human."Originally posted by hi19hi19edgelord Linkin Park adolescent angst musicOriginally posted by choofhey great contribution to the thread cucklord the exit's up in the top right of your screen, it's called "log out"Originally posted by Funnygurl555what's a milky christmas :OComment

To be honest, I'm more suspicious of r's vote.

Well the seer's gonna die if they out themselves, so they shouldn't reveal unless they have a red read, the doctor won't reveal cause they're a doctor and the wolves should reveal so we can win.Comment

Re: jTWG LXIX: MECHANICAL POWER OF LOVEEEEE Game Thread
So I read it and TPS's post seems like a bunch of white noise to me. Although this is a JTWG, most of the first bit just seemed seemed like generic mechanic talk. This is an easy way to look active and seem like you are pro-town. Then he introduces a plan that focuses heavily on the seer, before saying
is that not true of the seer as well? The seer has a chance of being protected by the doctor, but that is just a shot in the dark unless they are outed. other than that, they could be wolfed in the night or even lynched if the wolves decide to pull a counter-claim. Also, I am not a fan of "plans" that tell blue roles what to do. I think that it is best to play on a case-by-case basis, and to trust in the blue's good judgement to make the best decision they can
The fact that this post was the first post on day 0 and completely unprompted is also strange to me. on the other hand, it got discussion going right away and was a bold play, which seems humanFollow my dog on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Riles_puppyComment

Re: jTWG LXIX: MECHANICAL POWER OF LOVEEEEE Game Thread
The seer cannot be protected by the doctor, no. I don't see how you could disagree with wanting the seer to come out and claim if they seer a red. I also don't see how advocating the doctor to not come out (since they can't guard the seer) is a bad idea either. I'm not familiar with most of the players here so I may be coming off as verbose in running through my thought process for the sake of clarification. So I read it and TPS's post seems like a bunch of white noise to me. Your middle of the road declaration of my seeming humanity is interesting and appreciated. I generally agree with what you say about allowing the blues to act on their own, but in this particular game I am more interested in seeing how everyone picks apart game mechanics and how our actions will affect the remaining lynches/day left.
On that note, red blaster and RNGRX have a strange back and forth going on, it's getting to be a little on the nose if they're attempting to dissociate through substance-less posts/votes at the beginning of the day. I don't know the meta behind them and any of these previous games though, so I may just be making a mountain out of a molehill on day 1 (oh shit now im middle of the roading too >.<)
tl;dr I'd like to hear what ya'll think of the mechanics in playComment

Re: jTWG LXIX: MECHANICAL POWER OF LOVEEEEE Game Thread
I misread the roles as there being a normal seer as well as a mecha-seer.
