    lol well i told myself it was because i hated it. now i enjoy it. =p but i'm also lifting.


    i just need to adjust my diet which i can work out by the new year. this year was just learning how my body reacts to working out, and it seems to be pretty well. so when i incorporate a better diet i'm sure i will be banging out selfies like SCWolf in a few years :p

      track season started recently, gonna try to keep a picture log so i can see if i make any gains by the end

        I've pretty much let myself go. Back up to 170bs and haven't done any lifting or cardio for 8 weeks. My semester turned into hell and I didn't have time to work out. The worst is over, but I won't have access to a gym for another month ;_;

          Man my workouts have gone to shit lately. So stressed.

          Today I went real light but tried something different. 195 on the bar for bench but I got 20 reps. I was actually surprised I could rep it that hard.

                      im short as fuck lol 173 cm. i have a lot of muscle mass so i don't look like a ginormous blob, but when i was 260 i was starting to look obese.

                      almost 225 now lmao idk how im losing it so fast, tapeworm or some shit

                      ill post a progress pic when im at about 200

                        Over winter break I've been trying to get back into running and I've cut most of the weight that I gained after I stopped working out back in October. Unfortunately I haven't done any lifting with weights (I have done body weight exercises) so hopefully I'm not losing too much muscle.

                          Down to 194.5 from 203, about 3-4 weeks into cutting. Things are going well.

                          Strength down about 5 lbs on bench but it has stabilized. Squat up 5 lbs. Deadlift not sure, since I'm not really pushing it.

                          Target weights right now are 189 @ 2 months, 184 @ 3 months, 180 @ 4 months. After that point I'll reevaluate and see if I want to slowly cut anymore weight.

                            having a hard time controlling hunger. not gaining weight but not losing it either..

                            should i just inhale some oats in the morning and drink water all day or what

                                Oats aren't that low in GI.

                                Something with long-chain fatty acids (fish, for example) might be best. They've been shown to be better for fat loss during caloric deficit.

                                "Long chain fatty acids (LCFA) require complex transport mechanisms in order to make it into the mitochondria. These transport mechanisms are heavily impacted by the hormone insulin, with higher levels inhibiting fatty acid transport into the mitochondria. In contrast medium chain fatty acids (MCFA) can directly diffuse into the blood stream and into the mitochondria, irrespective of the carbohydrate and insulin load introduced into the system. Finally research has demonstrated that supplementation of fish oil relative to corn oil results in less subcutaneous and visceral fat even though total macronutrient content was matched for (Hainault et al. 1993)."
