Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
also while I see a lot of votes happening on Pikachu relatively quickly, I like a LOT of the people voting for them. Which probably means nothing more than I think I'm just gonna stop looking at wagonomics b/c its mislead me already several times this game.Comment

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
You're taking that white noise thing really hard, partner.
I'm going rewind for a second here to clarify something I've been intentionally putting off addressing:
This is a defense against something I didn't say. At no point did I call all of your posts in this thread irrelevant junk. What I actually said was:Bring it. I hope you live through the night. The only reason I get so annoyed with you is that you call my posts "irrelevant junk." I've been clearly promoting activity and responding to posts with my opinions. Sure, I have a useless post here and there. So do you. So does everyone. To call what I've been doing basically a waste of time pisses me off.
That is, there was a correlation between when you shitposted and when I made posts with substance.
Every time I made a post tearing down Bowser's bullshit curtain, you were there to patch it up by making 4-5 posts at a time about completely unrelated matters, including dumb speculation about identities, dumb speculation about blue roles, and other generally unhelpful garbage.
I could go and grab quotes on this, but you're just going to have to wait for when I go hard on you later.
Oh, I know you want to see it.
I'm pretty tired from nailing your one partner though, and Dedede thinks you should be off the table today, so I'm going to keep holding it. Gotta build that hype!

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
The way you stick to something I said that could be construed as insulting if you read it wrong, it's almost like you saw how Bowser successfully avoided scrutiny for a while by pretending to be offended, and now you're emulating the behaviour.
Hmmmm.Comment

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
Speaking as a third person, I found the way you posted during the 10 pages of arguing with Ike to be offensive and radical. I don't think you made a good case for Bowser being a wolf, frankly. In fact, I think that reading your posts actually compelled me to think Bowser wasn't a wolf based on just how extreme you were being.Comment

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
We weren't talking about my case against Bowser at all and it's funny that you bring this up now.Speaking as a third person, I found the way you posted during the 10 pages of arguing with Ike to be offensive and radical. I don't think you made a good case for Bowser being a wolf, frankly. In fact, I think that reading your posts actually compelled me to think Bowser wasn't a wolf based on just how extreme you were being.
Care to back this position up? Can you quote a couple examples of me being offensive? Because, barring the single exception where I said Bowser probably didn't do well in drama class, I don't think I've crossed the line once this game.Comment

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
Oh I guess I did bring my case against Bowser up because it was related to the timing of when he'd just talk about things that were objectively not conducive to scumhunting.
I'd still like to hear examples of me being offensive, though. There's a difference between being insulting and refusing to accept wool being pulled over your eyes.Comment

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
Starting from page 66 to like 71, practically every post you made was sarcastic in some way. That alone wouldn't be offensive, but I think you took it too far sometimes in what you were implicitly saying.
Are you seriously still pretending like any red roleblocker in their right minds would choose to block a Gunsmith over a Seer? Give me a fucking break.
Way to try to play down your fuck ups as "semantics", by the way. The difference between "green" and "town" is immense and no actual Cop would have misspoke like that.
Your bullshit curtain is burning.Ike spouts a pretty nice steaming pile about what we could do about leaving Bowser alive, trying to scare us into thinking OMG WHAT IF BOWSER REALLY IS THE COP?
I invite you to consider: what if Mega Man is right about Bowser?
Because this here's what I think D3 could be like:
- Medic guards Peach. Our Gunsmith stays alive.
- Peach gives me a gun, and I use it to shoot Bowser in his wolf face.
- Bowser cardflips red.
- The real Cop can now focus on the other glaring reds who were present in the insane vote swing at the end of D2.
- Game becomes a breeze for humanity.
Wow, that sounds pretty good!
BUT NAHHHHHHH, IKE'S PLAN IS CLEARLY BETTER. LET'S LEAVE BOWSER ALIVE SO HE CAN GIVE US GOOFY FAKE SEERING RESULTS. THAT'LL RESULT IN WAY MORE INFORMATION FLOW.Good point, Ike! My plan sounds really good on paper like that, but what if I'm wrong?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Well, if we follow my plan, and this is somehow a universe where Bowser is a Cop who makes the posts he has been, this is what it looks like:
- The Cop dies, but the Gunsmith stays alive.
- I am the D3 instalynch, flip green, and look like an idiot.
- The Medic continues guarding the Gunsmith and maybe if we kill the Wolf Roleblocker we'll get some vigis later.
- Humans can stop focussing on Mega Man and Bowser, who is a human in this universe for some reason, and continue to have a solid shot at winning the game.
Oh wow that doesn't sound too bad either, huh?So let me get this straight: You think it's better for our Gunsmith to die and have an indefinitely roleblocked Cop, even though you agree that you think he's probably red?
Oh right, you're a wolf too, I don't really care what you think.
Let's hear some more people's thoughts.Comment

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
What I'm implicitly saying is that I know he's a wolf and I'm not putting up with it.
But that was a trick question and you answered wrong.
Ike, what about you?Comment

Re: TWG CXXIV: Super Smash Brothers
They aren't mutually exclusive, however. And I wouldn't say it was conspicuously apparent that Bowser had false claimed either. When weighing the options of losing a seer or losing a wolf when lynching a particular player, most people would be rather cautious and not make an absolute judgement immediately after the day has ended.Comment
