Ok, I give up, I have isolated the trills and played them 100 times every day for five days, on different speed mods, mirrored, without sound, accentuating different notes when tapping, listening to the music, not listening to it, trying to fudge the patterns as jumps and gallops etc etc etc.

My best isolated run of just the trills, after 500+ tries, was 5 0 0 3 and my average run had 20 goods. I simply cannot hit the trills properly no matter what I try. This has been the most frustrating chart I have ever whored, even though I have to admit it's a well-stepped one.

Good luck to the rest of D6, I'm out, with a PB of 10-0-0-6 on a 76-song ugh.

Still not entirely sure how I feel about the D3 chart, guess I'll have to wait until it's actually out. Might be a struggle to AAA this one though.

can we like not have people perfectly qualified to go far in this tourney get tipped off by trills on a 76 like really

hey did you try making the music quiet enough so you could hear your keytaps but loud enough so that you could still hear what's going on

if you're using earphones, take one earphone out while playing the song. that's what i did anyway and that's usually what i do when i'm having timing issues

do those together it does wonders

to be perfectly blunt: it's not my fault that only the same people seem to be the ones who know how to make files that are great for tournament usage. I'm not picking files because I see a certain stepartist; I'm picking songs because they have really good charts for tournament play and hey, what do you know: they just happen to be the same group of people.
