Shooting you makes it so your power DOES something. Coming out as Oracle with no counterclaim means a) The NOTHING you've said or done all game can be treated as Villainous nothing, which is still nothing and b) Next person with a gun ought to shoot you so your power isn't completely wasted and we can get the flip.
I'm giving you a lock clear human target to receive the gun, coordinate it's use, and then ensure that my death flips another person of our choice, in addition to my death proving my point.
How is that not superior to what you're suggesting?
It does look suspicious that Charles opted to go for someone completely different even though majority voiced their opinion on Randall. It would have been an easy shot to take because he hasn't been here since what, day 1? So I agree with you on that, but I'm still not thinking it's possible we have two bombs either. Then again, Xiz never clarified, so I'm guessing it *is* possible. But it still feels off to me. I'm leaning more to voting for Ursula today.

3 > 2
You only have a death flip if a) A hero kills you (which they won't since you'd flip them too) or b) you use the gun on yourself (which can be done if somebody else has it too)
Nothing about you being the one to have it makes it extra special.
Nobody claiming oracle is going to get wolved without a counterclaim. -maybe- you hit a random, maybe you hit one of the only two left, and even the Godfather woudln't be safe.
With 5 or 4 Heros left maybe. With two? Too risky.

Except that you don't have to go with "the most villianous lean" for gun gifting, you can go with me and guarantee it's use will be pro-villian.
Also, your "A" statement isn't true. My role doesn't flip the hero who wolfs me, it flips the person I choose the night prior in case of my death. This isn't an automatic 100% deterrent from being wolfed.
Finally, how is me living to the end of the game a detriment to our cause?
shere ur not lock clear plz understand this, and if u think theres a chance of u being nightkilled then why are u asking to receive a gun? thats sketchy honestly
