But how does this imply that Google owns Twitch? Even if it's by extension they didn't make the deal themselves, so I would imagine Youtube would have a great deal of control over what happens to Twitch.

edit: what I'm trying to ask is why people are assuming G+ will assimilate into Twitch (or anything else Google could do) when Youtube could make sure it stays an arm's length away from Google at all times.
