There are just so many good and catchy songs from those series of games. Of course I'd love to see variety, but you really can't have a simfile pack based on VG Music without Sega or Capcom love. Plus, the VGMPs have always had great variety, having everything from Bomberman to Persona to Atelier Iris, in addition to crowd pleasers like Mario/Final Fantasy/Sahnic/Megamenz. VGMP 2 even had a song from Flashbulb based on Friday the 13th.

This pack is shaping out to be quite interesting though too; I'm really loving the variety seen so far. It's really up to people to pull from their experience of VG Music to submit songs that are really out of the box. OC Remix has a lot of nice music, and remixes or music inspired by video games in general have always been accepted as a tradition.

Not making a criticism of the current submissions or past packs in the series. The old VGMPs were my favorite packs during the period I was playing heavily.
Just saying I'll be sad if that's all you get, so I'm doing my part to make sure that's not the case.

I'm going to be sending in fixes for my submissions really soon. Installed 3.95 and found out the gap on some of my songs were actually off. Stupid SM5- My global offset was completely off for some reason. I was wondering why I was doing so poorly playing these files, I thought I was just rusty as hell.

I was listening to osts from games like titan fall, the last of us, and even mw2 lmao but couldn't really find anything steppable. I did find one song though, which I'm sure you'll all love.

If you wanted to step a True Final Boss song from DDP, you could have tried, or should try Zatsuza. Tenshi fundamentally hammers 8th notes and it appears hard to do something actually good and varied out of it. Quite not much possibilities available it seems. I just know I wouldn't personally try that one if I wanted to make a fun and intense simfile.
Zatsuza is a fest of crazy inputs, it seems just about evenly hard to decently step, but you can take a lot of initiatives on it.

Was straggling for a steppable Traverse Town song but there was absolutely none on google I could find until last week. Some1 pooped out something as if it were made for the pack. Hope I made the chart just as good.
