Currently unable to run due to an achilles injury, so I envy all of you.
I am in the same boat of having injuries. If I wanted to start running again I would have to spend around $600 for proper footwear and insoles, as well as braces, in order to be able to safely run again. I would also have to start by walking an obtuse amount until my knees and feet stopped tweaking out before I'd be able to start running. :C
Tore the ACL in my right knee in gymnastics in january, looking to have surgery in may/june. Im getting fat and feel very unconformable not being able be active. I find my self scooting now because my knee cant take a full hit from running, feels like its going to buckle.
It doesnt matter where you draw the line, everything leads to the same place... Over the line!

I have pretty bad IT band syndrome and haven't been able to fix it. Used to like running (albeit not nearly as much as lifting) but I can't run for more than 10 minutes now without being in agony.
No other activity does it to me so I haven't done much PT for it. Was told I was highly susceptible to it anyway because I'm extremely bowlegged. Shit out of luck I guess.
Can still sprint though, and I'm pretty fast (~12 second 100m if I'm in condition).
Ran a 11:28 for the 3200m at an invitational on Thursday. PR'd by about 40 seconds!

I also like the nps scale. The standard ITG scale for harder files is blown out of proportion and no longer makes sense.

nps is still a better idea for ratings

there is 1 tip for people going to college. When you're in college, you'll be 16, which is the age where (where i live) you can get laid lawfully. basically, get laid asap when they look the best.

Ran overall decent at my last dual-meet yesterday.
1600m: 5:22
3200m: ~11:40
Making districts is going to be harder than I thought o:

I don't time it, more for general exercise. Competing with yourself is boring to me. I'll try to set a timer and get a general time when I can remember. I don't usually push it hard, though I could... but uphill is so hard T_T
Thanks, Magicturbo. c:
And oh wow, nice. 5k is enough for me in XC, haha.
And to qualify for districts in the mile, the requirement if 4:52 I believe. I can definitely get it my junior year but this year is doubtful, still possible though. Not sure about 3200m, but I'm definitely going for that as well next year.
